The trip started with a 6 am pick up and finished at around 9 pm. Traffic was smooth, spectacular views and clear blue sky. Bob, the driver guide was one of the best tour guides we have met, attentive, with a good sense of humour. You could not ask for a better one. Simple breakfast (muffin and juice), lunch (choice of sandwich with chips), water and snacks were all provided. No regrets.

Clayton was a great guide and we had a wonderful day! Although the company had to change our tour we originally booked due to the Park not allowing in commercial vehicles, the new tour was great and they were very accommodating in trying to make our day special.

Thank you for the wonderful review. Trying to make everything work so we have happy people in these difficult times is a challenge indeed. But you had a great day and that makes it all worthwhile. We will pass your comments on to Clayton, I'm sure you will make his day. Thank you again Will & Donna Tryon - Owners
Outstanding Grand canyon Trip

From the moment we were picked up from our hotel our guide Ken was very informative about history of vegas and surrounding towns on way to Hoover dam .We were given a bag breakfast to eat and set off.We made a quick stop at the observation lookout area for pictures and stopped to pick up Linda ,our driver to the Grand Canyon. She also was very knowledgeable about the area having grown up there. We stopped in KIngman at route 66 visitor center and for bathroom break. Also stopped before going into canyon for a rest stop and gas up.Stopped at three places along canyon rim with the option to walk along rim or get a ride to the next stop.Linda was very accomodating to our group as we had a family member in a wheelchair. She was more than happy to take pictures and provide some history of Canyon. We were given a delicious bag lunch to eat at our leisure and plenty of cold water always available. Our family enjoyed a picnic lunch overlooking the rim, what a beautiful sight !.Time here to walk along rim or shop and just to enjoy nature. On way back to Vegas we were lucky enough to see a majestic elk strolling across the road.before we left the park. Stopped in Williams AZ ,a quaint little town for a bathroom break and visitors center. We booked the small group tour,12 people van because it was more personal and our family member in wheelchair had an easier time .Would definitely recommend and Linda made the trip so enjoyable.
Fantastic!!! A must do..

After debating whether to go to the South Rim or the West Rim, we ended up plunging for this tour due to other reviews and how we landed with this. From pick up to drop off and everything in between it was more than we ever expected. Bob was our tour guide and what he doesn’t know is anyone’s guess, polite, fun, knowledgeable and just an overall great person. He made the 4 and a half hour journey there and back with a few stops for coffee and restroom breaks so much more tolerable. We had a quick stop off in the morning to take a few photos of the Hoover Dam and when we arrived at the South Rim we were able to have around 3 hours at 3 different look outs... Bob was there to explain everything regarding drop off and pick ups and even guide us a little around “his office”... and the Grand Canyon? My goodness what an experience... amazing... so worth the money and time, couldn’t recommend this tour any more.

We had a very good guide who picked us up on time, he was very knowledgeable and drove safely, there was only 6 of us in the van. I like the small group, and everyone got along

It was a very long day but we expected it. Both Dennis and Barry were great tour guides / drivers. The Grand Canyon was more spectacular than expected - really beautiful. Well worth the long distance.
Great experience

We were picked up by Mark at our hotel and on the way to the Hoover Dam we had to make an unexpected stop due to a canvas of some type on the highway that Mark could not avoid. We had to stop and the men managed to remove it from underneath the van. We were the no our way to the Hoover Dam Lodge where we met Bob ho would be our guide for the remainder of the day. Bob was very attentive to everyone’s needs and very knowledgeable. He gave us details about the canyon and surrounding areas as well as other tidbits. We really enjoyed our day even though it was long. Would request Bob again on any tour!

Enjoyable Day Going to the Grand Canyon
Debbie R, Mar 2019
We had a very fun day going to the Grand Canyon. Although it was a long 14 hour day, it actually went by fast due to our excellent tour guide, Bob, who was so interesting and informative of the places we visited on our way, and of course the Grand Canyon. We had a full van with 11 people including Bob which made not a lot of leg room and the person who picked us up at our hotel did not take us to Hoover Dam like he should have but Bob took our group to see it on the way back to our hotels. He aimed for excellent customer service. Definitely would tour again with Bob to other tours if we come back to Las Vegas!
A Must Do while in Vegas
Helen_L, Jan 2019
Had an amazing day, we were told we were getting picked up at 6.10am and the tour bus pretty much came bang on time. Everything about this tour was enjoyable. It was very well organised and our tour guide Bob was amazing, full of knowledge and witty, just a really lovely guy. I had done a West Wing Grand Canyon tour 7 years ago and I didn’t enjoy it, it was a big bus and not much time at the Canyon, this one was the opposite, we had plenty of time do the trail walk, which I highly recommend. Was a truly fun and amazing day, highly recommend. Thank you Bob and also our pick-up driver Allen who took us to the Hoover Dam.

This tour was great! Barry, our driver and guide was wonderful. He was very attentive to everyones needs. The day starts before 6 am so his dry humor and commentary really helped move things along. The views from the canyon was spectacular as was the weather. Be prepared for a lot of road time but it is totally worth it!

First of all, this tour was wonderful, especially with our Tour Guide Barry from Adventure Photo Tours. We were in a small group of 8 people and the people were all nice. Barry is a funny, experienced and knowledgeable Tour Guide. Often he told us nice and funny stories The Tour was well planned and the timeline was well set. This tour was worth to join. Really much much better, than in a big tour bus with many people. Thanks so much Barry, keep going on like this. We had a lot of fun : Vincent and Jane

How do you store wealth of...
Bibian_S, Feb 2017
How do you store wealth of information about Grand Canyon in one head? That's what both me and the other 2 tourists said about Bob - our tour guide. He really likes what he is doing. I really like the fact that he explains the tour itinerary of what is included and not. I knew what to expect before I even reach the destination. Excellent driving skill - some people may think it's a bit too fast but I drove 120KM/hr in a tiny Suzuki Celerio and in the middle of sandstorm before, so his speed was just fine and within the law limits. The SUV has multi-area weather system - so I can keep the heat for me and chilly temperature for the canadian tourists at the back. Good shock absorbers and suspension - for the pot holes along on the highway. More than enough restroom stops and he was pretty flexible and never tried to rush you. His SUV comes equipped with food, snacks and cold water. He even provide blankets and pillows in case you want extra comfort. The road is a straight and fairly empty highway so the chance of you getting motion sickness is nil - unless you're that sensitive and even then, Bob has a remedy for that. Just ask him. Nice guy too, polite and always ready to help. Grand Canyon were snowy, makes it more beautiful with the bright red and white topping, we stopped for a bit at Route 66, fairly good time at the Hoover. Arizona is beautiful in winter.
