What To Expect

Start your half-day adventure with hotel pickup (selected hotels only) in the afternoon, and relax aboard air-conditioned transport from Las Vegas to Jean, where your ATV tour begins in the Mohave Desert. Listen to a safety briefing and receive instructions on how to operate your all-terrain vehicle, then slip on a provided helmet, gloves and goggles.

Your thrilling ATV ride takes you off-road through Hidden Valley National Monument. Follow your guide as you bump alongside extinct lava beds, around large boulder formations, across dry lake beds and past the desert wilderness of the McCullough Range to the Primm Valley overlook for sweeping views of the landscape below.

The tour ends with a transfer back to the original departure point.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to the pick-up location to sign all necessary paperwork.

Tours run rain or shine, at suppliers sole discretion.
Participants are responsible to pay for all damages they incur or equipment lost while on tour.

Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated, under the influence or show signs of intoxication or drug use. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
It is recommended that Guests bring their own backpack for personal items. Items in back pockets tend to fall out during the tour and may become unrecoverable.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Great tour. The three guides were informative, caring, helpful, and stressed safety. Also, appreciated the safety briefing. And guides brought cold water and offered it often. The guides helped putting on the helmets each time we took a break. Opportunity to ask questions and the guides were extremely knowledgeable. And each guide was enthusiastic that made the tour even more enjoyable. Thanks. PS important to bring and use sun screen.

Great time. Will do again. Wife and I did the AtV quads. Great Polaris 850. Like new equipment. Scenic spots to visit. Glad to see these were not restricted vehicles. Staff was on top of all safety protocols. Guides listened to our needs and stoped when we needed a thumb break. Think jet ski type thumb throttle. We really enjoyed this trip.

A member of our party had an accident while riding an ATV. The ATV flipped and it was a miracle the rider was not injured. ATV’s are inherently dangerous and you ride at your own risk. My observation was the company talked about how safety was the most important thing. However, the actions they took after the accident proved otherwise. They focused on getting paid for damage to the ATV, and zero on trying to understand the root cause of the accident to identify proactive actions to prevent it from happening again in the future. They blamed it on driver error, however, they failed to recognize and point out the hazard (dip) in the trail under dusty low visibility conditions. I would not recommend them to others. Safety is a word for them, it’s not a true culture to protect clients from getting hurt.

So much fun! Harley, Glenn, and Nate were fantastic guides! And funny too! Nate was full of information during the drive! I had never driven an ATV before. Very easy to do. The trails were pretty bumpy in spots but the view at the top made it all worth it. Would definitely do it again!

These guys are the best at what they do, hands down!!! We had so much fun just on the van ride to the location, the guides are extremely funny and very personable. This is not like any other guided tour we’ve taken before, you get to really ride and not just go around a track or circle. There were so many different trails and locations. The scenery is unbelievable. Unfortunately the day we went out it was 109 degrees! My wife and 2 others started showing signs of dehydration and heat stress. The guides were ultimate professionals, and really showed their safety first motto. They left an atv in the middle of the desert and had my wife ride back in a razor to make sure she was safe. The other group on razors had someone at the very beginning of trip start showing signs, one guide brought her back and the other kept the tour going. They were so good about not making anyone feel bad or that it was an inconvenience to them, and kept it fun. Can’t say enough about these guys. We will be back again.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I would highly recommend this excursion! Breathtaking views. Knowledgeable staff and an overall very awesome experience. It was my first time riding in the dessert, and while I did get pretty dusty (if your not dirty your not doing it right 😝) it was awesome!! If your looking for something to do away froM the strip check them out!

We had a fantastic time on this ATV tour. The guides are extremely patient and helpful as well as friendly. My wife had not ridden an ATV before and was a bit nervous about trying but after some guidance from our guides Dillon and Austin, she was ready to go. We both ended up having a great time as the trail was fun to ride on. I would highly recommend American Adventure Tours.
