Very well organized tour. Our tour guide KK was professional and friendly. And of course the views are breathtaking - worth visiting. We picked the Lower Antelope.

It was a great trip. Our driver - Hero was highly positive, welcoming, entertaining, and engaging, telling us various stories about canyons, places, and cities we passed and making extra stops to see more of the dam and Lake Powell.
Awesome tour!!!

Driver from Vegas named Hiro was great! Tour guide at Upper Antelope is great as well. Antelope Canyon itself is amazing!
Awful!!!!!
Luann_V, Aug 2023
I was put on a minivan with 6 other people including the driver. All of the other passengers were Chinese speaking, although they all spoke English, they chose not to. The driver ,Max, spoke 99% of the time in Chinese. In fact I actually had to remind him that I didn't understand Chinese and he needed to tell me what he's saying. I was traveling alone. All of the conversation and accommodation was given to the other passengers. This left me with no opportunity to converse. I listened to max speaking with the other passengers in Chinese for 10+ hours. Max seems to be a nice man but is not a tour guide. I should not have been put with this group as it left me isolated for the entire day. Essentially I paid $350 for a driver. And perhaps some cultural sensitivity training should be offered. It is rude to speak exclusively in a language that 1 passenger doesn't understand. I would not recommend Viator to anyone and plan to put negative reviews on every site I can.
Good trip but could be better
Tanuj_R, May 2023
time alloyed in horse show bend was very less , guide must be provided as the tour was without guide . Lower antilope canyon is mesmerising, must see for all nature lovers
could have been better
Shemia_S, May 2023
I would consider to feeling safe when driven 4 hrs to a destination.Driver was driving dangerously doing 85 to 90 serving in and out of lanes etc. In addition, told us we had to tip 15 dollars and he collected from each passenger 2 hrs before we returned to our final destination which was unprofessional. This was not stated in the booking. Please consider companies who value customers safety and overall great experiences.

The tour spots, the Upper Antelope Canyon and the Horseshoe Bend were so wonderful majestic works of nature. Such a memory experiencing one of hidden treasures out west. Nothing like it. Overall, it was awesome places to have visited. The only drawback is your guide can use a little bit of respect. Do not expect him to be too friendly but a bit of courtesy could certainly help. There was an extra charge of $15.00 per person that no one expected. Thought this was outrageous considering the amount we already paid for the tour. We would like to know if the extra charge was a voluntary or his own? I had always used Viator before but don't remember being forced to pay extra; it was purely voluntary. Maybe a new policy, if it is it should be made aware beforehand. Gratuity is to my last recollection was always voluntary.

We had enough breaks on the way, and we have a good guide and driver Sam. The views are really unique!
Not Satisfied
Christine_F, Feb 2023
The upper canyon was beautiful and the guide knowledgeable. FYI Upper canyon does have a steep ramp upon exiting which I found difficult to manage. Our guide stayed with me and stated it was lucky he didn't have a tour after ours? My issue was with the transportation and ADDITIONAL fees. Driver stated we had to pay $10 per person per entry "in cash" for Indian Territory entrance, an extra $40. This should be noted in what is not covered, I show the driver my reservationand what was include and not included and he said "read signs", english was not his first language. Van windows could be washed so a person could enjoy the scenery.
Awe inspiring!

Our tour guide Marvin and our driver Robbie were top notch! It was a great experience and I highly recommend this tour. Our Navajo guide at the Canyon was very professional and knowledgeable.
SHOCKING. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Natasha_L, May 2022
Picked up by completely different company. Driver was terrible. On the way back, driver demanded 12 dollars of each person or he was going to leave us at service station in Utah (2 1/2 hours from destination.)

The actual Lower Antelope Canyon was stunning and amazing. The actual process to schedule the tour was confusing. Totally understand that the original date we wanted was booked so worked through some emails to pick another date. We received notes that all was well. Then the night before I checked in and they couldn't find our information. The customer service rep said he would look into it. We received a text back from a different tour company. After that there were not a lot of issues. The tour guide was on time, friendly and informative. Our Navajo guide at Lower Antelope Canyon, Tracy, was amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, excellent at how to get the best pictures!!! Just felt like they some how lost our tour somewhere and then scrambled to find us a different tour.
Very poor customer service

It was a terrible experience this time. The bus was making a weird sound in the engine, chairs of my friends seat were not reclining giving them no chance to relax in the 10hr tour travel back and forth ,foot rest were broken, the bathroom inside the bus is not working so the tourist guide told us to let him know 30mins prior to each bathroom break but he was not following what he said after the tourist told him she needs to use the restroom. It doesn't look like he cared at all. What if that person has bladder problems? My nose bled due to no cold air circulating inside. The bus was so hot. Thay tried to open the top vent to let cold air in and make it very noisy. The tourist guide named"Z" pressured us to come back to the bus asap even before the time is up for each stop made.He was crunching our time. It also doesn't look he is familiar about the bus features.Viator should make sure that their contracted tour bus company is following the proper protocol for good customer service and safety because it was not followed for sure in this case.We are a group of 12 people expecting to have the best tour experience but it wasn't what I expected.I was very dissatisfied and disappointed about the tour paying $157plus per person. I felt so embarrassed for my friends specially those who flew in from Connecticut since it was their first time to join such tour and the experience was terrible for us.Mandatory tip of $10 was also collected per person which was a shame on their part. I have to say never again. And I would also share this bad review to my social media account to made people aware hoping it will not happen to anybody else again.

Dear, we are so sorry that our tour didn't meet your expectation. Please allow me to make some explaination. Our bus is certified to be on the road by DOT. Currently in Las Vegas it's winter and the temperature is below 10℃ that is pretty cold. That's why we rais the AC temperature to keep passengers warm. AS for the restroom on the bus, since there are many passengers sit near it, we normally don't open it in order to make surronding customers feel comfortable and keet the bus clean. However, we do have some stops for passengers to have a rest. Along your trip to Antelope Canyon, the bus stoped in Colorado City for over 20 mins. The main purpose of this trip is to visit Antelope Canyon to capture the best light beams. To see the best views inside Antelope Canyon, we have to make sure to enter the canyon around around 12pm, which is under the best light condition. That's why we set a tight schedule to ensure that passengers will enjoy the most gorgeous views. If these settings make you unpleasant, we are sorry for this. And we do have a huge to improve our service that we keep doing all the time.
Best Attraction, Poor Tour Company Service
Delia U, Nov 2019
I have used Viator in the past but this Lower Antelope Canyon was worst. The tour was 5 hour drive one way & bus bathroom was not working. The bus had a weird noise. This bus should not be used for tours unless fixed and well maintained. Z was the worst tour guide I ever met and I travel around the world. He collected mandatory tip of $10/person. He did deserve any tip. He hurried up people even if we're still not due to go back to the bus. No respect of our time. Very minimal commentary and info during the drive. He's not knowledgeable about the area and he's not a trained tour guide. We paid $150 plus/person for the tour and the tour was not worth it. The customers deserve a good experience for the amount paid. Z did not really care. He was more about taking the people to Antelope Canyon and getting his tip. Viator should NOT use this tour company. Very disappointing.

What a terrible tour guide and driver.
George N, Oct 2019
Our driver, Mr Yang is a very unsafe driver and a terrible tour guide. He picked us up from the meeting point and did not even say Hi and did not tell us any information about the trip. We were not even sure if we were in the right vehicle for the tour. No information how long it will take, if we are going to stop for a bathroom break etc. He spoke to the chinese people in the vehicle but no english translation for the rest of the group that are not chinese. I strongly believe Mr Yang doesn't belong in this kind of business. The local tour guide (Ambrose) at the Antelope Canyon was awesome, very polite and knowledgeable.
Amazing

Upper Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend Trip from Las Vegas
Elizabeth K, Oct 2019
This tour was very disappointing. The tour bus was not clean, and our guide, Neil, offered very little background information about the sites we were visiting for the day (Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon). Also, during our last rest stop before going back to Las Vegas, Neil told my group that each person must give him a ten-dollar gratuity. Therefore, my group (consisting of four people) paid him an additional forty dollars. I have been on several bus tours, and not once has a tour guide demanded a gratuity. This was unprofessional behavior, as customers should not be forced to pay a gratuity, especially for poor service.
Response from Host, Oct 2019
