The park is a beautiful place. Our guide was courteous, informative and always checking to see if we were ok or needed anything. To get the most from this trip, short walk (uphill in sand, difficult) required. And to see the Petraglyphs you have to climb about 70 steps. Not a problem for me, but should be included in your description. Also description says "plenty of snacks provided." There were none.

Great excursion

Had a great time. Robert our guide was fantastic,very welcoming ,friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He showed us great spots for photos and made the trip and great experience. Well worth it for a few hours off strip to venture out and see more of what Nevada has to offer.

Denny was a great guide. Patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Thanks for the experience. A decent hike as well if you want. Maybe a total of 2 hours between the stops. But plenty to see if you just want to lightly walk around at the stops.

Denny was our tour guide. He was kind and offered a lot of water. He drove a comfortable Nissan NV van. I felt safe with him. Valley of Fire State Park was amazing. Denny drove us around to all the popular sites and allowed us plenty of time to explore. The only thing I would improve upon is it would be nice to stop for breakfast and lunch. We stopped at a gas station on the way to the park but there was not much to eat. Our family did not have any food other than snacks that we bought at the gas station from 7A-2P.

Fun day. Glad we went early. Mid day traffic to get into the park was 2 miles long. Leave by 8am to avoid it. Tour guide Max was great.

Great Outdoor Experience

This was a great outdoor experience. Our driver Robert was on time and friendly. He had water for us upon pick up and made sure we were hydrated during the tour. He also gave us great photo op spots and took our pictures for us too. I would do this tour again.

Fire Wave trail hike. Tony's guidance for climbs and best photo ops. Glad I was able to fit it in this trip. Some improvements coming to the park next week so definitely make the time for this side trip.

Robert, our tour guide was great. He greeted us with a big smile. He shared his knowledge of the Valley of Fire and everyone had fun. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to see a beautiful desert landscape.

Robert was just super! He had bottles of water ready for us and topped up when necessary. We felt we were being chauffeured! He opened and closed the car doors for us, we felt really special. He obviously loves the Valley of Fire and is so knowledgeable about it. He even took photos for us without prompting. Once again, we do not regret booking through Viator.

This is a very interesting tour with stops to see and photograph all kinds of rock formations- red, white, yellow, purple striped. It’s a trip back through geologic time. The petroglyphs at the end were amazing. Robert was a great guide - very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He knows all the best spots for video and photos and kept offering to take photos of our group so could all be in the pictures without selfies. We each got at least 4 bottles of water from him. He really made the day better.

Roberto was a wonderful guide and very accommodating. He stopped for a restroom and snack break on the way. He was knowledgeable about the Valley of Fire and Mojave Desert and answered all questions. We were also given bottles of water. Roberto was also willing to take photos. The only drawback was that our van had limited legroom for tall folks. Thanks for a great day!

We lived this tour. We are an active couple who are celebrating our 70 birthdays in vegas. We loved the short hikes and climbing the rock structures for beautiful views out over the colorful valleys. This is a must do!!!

I was promptly picked up at my hotel. I was notified at about 8pm the night prior to the excursion of the arrival time of the driver the next am. I was given the cell number of the driver and the name and model of the vehicle. I ended up with a solo trip due to the other person didn’t show. I will admit I was a little nervous, but I felt comfortable and the driver Robert was very professional. He explained a lot in the drive up to the park. He offered to take pics and he knew the great areas for the spectacular views. There was some moderate walking from the parking areas to the wonderful sites but it was very feasible. I would say I walked anywhere from 25 feet to 100 feet at certain sites but none of it was mandatory. The exploration sites are plentiful and can also be seen largely from your vehicle as well if walking is not an option.

The entire experience was phenomenal. The scenic route in and through the valley were breataking. I love the history and the scientific shifts of the rocks formation. Our guide Mr. Jose was fantastic!! He was very kind, knowledgeable and patient. He offered us food and water as well as made us feel welcomed.. Our group was wonderful! I will definitely return!
