Disappointing Service

The main reason I rated it with only 1 star was that we were arriving in Livorno aboard the cruise ship Enchanted Princess. The port call had to be cancelled due to extremely poor weather conditions. I sent a request for a refund due to circumstances beyond our control but viator hasn't not taken the time to response back to me concerning a refund.

Although the Q is long from the town centre. There was a cable car trip to the church of Our Lady of Montera it was a great surprised. The view is spectacular. The driver was great. Maybd add more busses during cruise season to avoid long Q.
Genoa Hop-on Hop-off

We scheduled our time in Genoa in the Hop on Hop off bus as our day trip to Cinque Terre was cancelled because of bad weather. Please be aware, there is only one bus and it runs every hour whereas most cities operate more than one bus. I cannot recommend this tour. The wait times are way too long. We just cut our losses and walked around town went to the market and had a fantastic lunch at a local restaurant! Don’t waste your money!

The driver was texting, eating and drinking while driving the bus and got into a very heated argument with another driver during the tour. There was little to see and the only time we were encouraged to “hop off” was at the funicular where there was a big crowd of people wanting to get on. Worst hop on/off bus experience ever

Found the tour lacking. Long periods if hearing classical music - nice - but I am there to hear a tour and history. The tour should tell more history like the city was one of the worst Italian cities bombed in WW2. What happened after that?? What do people do for work now - etc! Give me more of the city!!

Despite the tour description showing 9 stops, the driver made a beeline for #4, the funicular, and told us he will pick us up there in one hour, which he did. The return trip was directly back to #1, with no attempt to stop anywhere else. This was not a “hpp-on, hop-off” tour at all.

I can understand why it was cancelled as the open buses could not run in the rain, but a refund should have been processed automatically.

We started the tour at 10AM. Right away we were informed that out of the 10 scheduled stops number 6 and 7 two museums were not available, we say ok, The driver drove extremely fast, Never stopped until he got to stop Number 5, Santuario di Montenero there he proceeded to tell us he would be back in one hour. He did pick us up in an hour , drove like a bat out of hell , never stopping again and dropped all of us of at the starting point , many of the people in the bus like us wanted to stop at No. 9 which was the Mercato Centrale. We were extremely dissapointed. I wanted to let you know because my daughter and I have used your services in several countries like Ireland and Scotland and here in the US and the kind of service and professionalism that we had experience with your services have always been outstanding. Seemed to us that this was a one man show with only one bus
