What To Expect
Meet your private guide outside the Livorno cruise port at 10am. The time can be altered to fit your schedule if needed; just contact the local operator after you book.
Then, travel by minivan away from the coast and toward the hills of Tuscany. Your destination is Chianti, one of the world’s most scenic wine-producing regions.
Through the day, you’ll visit two historic wineries and farms, discovering their production traditions and winemaking heritage with the help of your guide.
Take a break for a light lunch at one of the farms, and meet the owner to learn about the food and wine. As well as sampling the produce, you’ll even learn about cheese making on the estate.
When your tour ends, return to your minivan for the journey back to your cruise ship in Livorno.

We had the best time with Massimo showing us the Tuscany countryside and wineries. He was waiting for us with our name on his placard at the ship at the appointed time - so easy to meet up. His van was roomy, clean, and comfortable for the 4 of us. The two wineries he took us to were wonderful - we learned a lot about making and tasting wine.

Michel was great! He was part driver/part guide. Very personable and friendly and knowledgeable. He took us all through the beautiful Tuscany region. We had two different kind of tours/experiences to two different vineyards. A really great day!

This was one of the best tours of our 30-day trip. We had a private tour at our second winery and were served an excellent antipasti lunch. Our second host was great! Our driver was the best and treated us to a great tour of the Italian countryside. He took different routes going and coming. It was well worth the cost. I am a firm believer in private tours.
