The tour was very informative. We learned alot of normative about butterfly stages and each butterfly native to Hawaii. We got to hold caterpillars, butterflies, and prying mantis.

This was one of the best parts of our trip to Maui. The staff were all very nice, they had all the answers to the many questions all of the guests had. You actually get to hold Butterflies, praying mantis, and caterpillars! Great picture opportunities for the family. A must do if you are here and it's not raining. Butterflies don't like the rain!

From caterpillar egg, larva, pupa (chrysalis) to butterfly, awesome and fun. Seeing and handling the bugs was fun for all ages in our group. The 3d stop had us holding plants that attract the (numerous) butterflies. Some had 5 or more clinging to their plants. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned the butterflies can see color. Glad we took time on our vacation to go on this tour. We would encourage everyone to go.

This was so much more interesting and fun than we even imagined it would be. We ranged in age from 60’s to 2 1/2 and it was delightful for all of us. I would definitely recommend.

The staff at the Maui Butterfly Farm are extremely knowledgeable and happy to tell the butterfly tales. You will see caterpillars, crysalists and the butterfly. You will also see Praying Mantis. A wonderful look at the lifespans of butterfly's. Awesome

My 9 year old daughter loves butterflies and loved this butterfly farm experience! She said it was so cool how she got to hold a caterpillar and the caretaker showed us how to hold a butterfly. 🦋 Loved it and the drive along the coast to get there was beautiful too!

We loved this family adventure in Maui— from holding caterpillars and watching them crawl in our hands/arms to having a butterfly land on our fingers…so magical! Explain to your children under 5 about each stage… our son was a bit confused about putting peach juice on his finger for the butterflies to land, but once we explained the process, he was good. He loved the praying mantis area the best. Enjoy this treasure in Maui!
