Lots of bike paths and it was an electric bike so very smooth and easy to operate. Would recommend if you want a fun way to go around the city and learn about their history!

Freddy was a well informed, colorful and very entertaining guide that made our ride memorable. We rode e-bikes in immaculate conditions among the main landmarks of downtown Melbourne. It took about four hours to cover 10 miles including an hour-long lunch in a very delicious and charming place (with Japanese flavor). Frequent stops allowed to take some photos. It was a pleasant way to be introduced to the city.

I fell off the bike after riding close to 2 hours. I thought the bike was too heavy for me and the description said for 18-99 year olds. This was a horrible experience for me.

Being on an e-bike was such a fun and relaxing way to see parts of the city that would otherwise be a semi-involved walk. Getting some history along the way was another addition, and would definitely recommend to those wanting to get a Melbourne overview in just a few hours!

This 4 1/2 hour bike tour around Melbourne is a "must do!" Blue Tongue Bikes provided us with good quality Ebikes and helmets that made the ride easy and enjoyable. Freddy was an excellent guide! He took us along the Yarra River, through the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens, and around the famous sporting arenas. After a wonderful lunch at a pub called Molly Ross Brewery, we continued our ride through downtown Melbourne, including Chinatown. It was a great way to see Melbourne!

Blue Tongue Bikes did a great job! Freddie, the owner, is super-personable and full of cool facts. He led our group of 13 through sometimes drenching rain past many of Melbourne's highlights. The bikes are in great shape and we all returned safe and sound, though sodden to the bone. I highly recommend the company and the tour!

Along with 2 other people, my wife and I did the bike tour with Finbar, who was on his first tour as a guide, so we said we'd be gentle with him! He had clearly done a lot of background research and had made copious notes to refresh his memory with the tremendous amount of historical detail that he imparted. He led us at a very comfortable pace, stopping frequently to check that we were still together and shepherding us across the road junctions, explaining the intricacy of the "hook turn", which was new to us. We really enjoyed his conversational style and his objectivity when discussing contentious issues about Australia's, Victoria's and Melbourne's past. For his first tour, he did an excellent job!

We had a great half day tour with Matt from Blue Tongue Bikes starting at Batman Park. They offered peddle or E-bikes, we road along the river, historic parts of town, Chinatown, and had a lunch stop in Fitzroy. Matt provided great history, background and anecdotes on Melbourne. The pace was reasonable and it was a great overview of town.
