The tour was excellent. I like tours that you can see what you want but do not take all day. This tour took about 4 hours total that included driving time. Our tour guide, Clara, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I definitely recommend this tour.

My wife and I really wanted to visit Teotihuacan during our short stay in CDMX Polanco. However, we were very concerned with spending too much time on the group tours with multiple destinations offered by other operators. Very glad we found the express private tour from Local Vibes. Our tour guide Clara and driver Edgar were both wonderful. Clara is not only very knowledgeable and passionate about history of Mexico but is also a great listener. She gently adjusted pace of the tour through the ancient city to our abilities. We are very glad we went for the tour. Our trip to CDMX would not be complete without it.
Smooth transport, expert guide

My friends and I had a fantastic experience visiting the Teotihuacán pyramids. Transport to and from Mexico City was on-time and smooth. We could not have asked for a better guide than Julia who was able to answer our every question about Mexico and the pyramids. The tour lasted the perfect amount of time (~2.5 hours at the pyramids) and we were given the chance to stop for a drink on the way back.

Diana and Michel (our driver) were lovely. They picked us up at our Air bnb. Diana was quite knowledgeable, and attuned to what we wanted to see, how much, how long. We cut the tour a little short because it was hot and we had seen all the important stuff. Would recommend for anyone looking for a private tour. Chill, friendly, and very down to earth. They even dropped us off at a taco joint on our way back that they recommended. It was fantastic!!

Super convenient way to explore the pyramids

The express tour was the perfect amount of time to spend at the pyramids. We got there before the crowds and before the sun got unbearable. We even got a chance to climb the steps of the temple of the feathered serpent. Sergio was very knowledgeable and even had a cool program on his tablet that displayed renderings of what the temples would have looked like in their heyday. The tour was a great, convenient way to explore this significant historical site. We were picked up at our AirBnB, supplied with water and snacks, given ample opportunity for sightseeing, got picked up on the opposite end from where we started walking (to the great relief of our kids who thought we would have to walk all the way back to the beginning) and then were driven back to our place.

Our tour guide Clara was absolutely a pivotal piece of what made the trip to the ruins an unforgettable experience. Walking the ruins while she just laid out the facts and history of the people of Teotihuacan was mind blowing and really helped put everything in perspective, an experience we would not have received just by walking aimlessly around without a guide.

Our guide was very good, especially when it came to answering specific questions. He had a few helpful digital tools that helped us visual the ruins as they as they had been when in use. My only complaint was that the driver arrived separately from the guide, who we picked up on the way…some communication about that would have been nice.

We had an amazing tour with Rosa Maria (and a great driver in Federico). Pre-tour communication was clear and timely. After being picked up at our hotel, Rosa Maria gave us a historical overview to prep us for our visit, and pointed out some sights on the drive out. She was very informative during the tour and beyond even the historical info we had a great time talking with her throughout our morning together. I recommend this tour and would book it again. Good value for money for a private tour.

Wonderful Guide and Fascinating Tour

My family and my brother's family, 8 people in all, took this tour with Diana. She and our driver picked us up at our hotel in a van that was spacious, clean and comfortable. We learned a bunch about Teotihuacan and about Mexico City on the trip up, and then spent a very enjoyable few hours exploring all around the Teotihuacan site. Our guide was a gem. Very nice and full of interesting facts and insights about the site and what we've learned about the people. Plus she was great with the children in our party. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend this tour!

This tour was an amazing experience. Clara was a terrific guide. She provided valuable information as well as additional tips for things to do in Mexico City. The comfort of a private tour was a truly deluxe experience. We had been having some difficulty adjusting to the altitude and this enabled us to go at our own pace.

Julia was such a great guide! She was fluent in English, so knowledgeable and informative and incredibly down to earth. It helps to see the Anthropology museum earlier in your trip to have a base knowledge of the site, but regardless Julia will tell you everything you need to know! 100% recommend!
