Aldo was a fantastic tour guide and Iván who drove us was wonderful as well! Going to the pyramids without a tour would've been a totally different experience and we wouldn't have gotten as much out of it. Aldo provided tons of context for the things we were seeing, answered our questions, and even brought additional materials with him to show us photos or renderings from excavations, etc. He also gave us lots of information about Mexico City on the drive to the pyramids, which was great. The car they drove us in was very nice as well. I highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on this tour! We felt very lucky to have had Noah for our guide. On the drive out and back, and at Teotihuacan, he shared his vast knowledge of that magical place, its history and environs, as well as so much about Mexico City and Mesoamerican culture. He was very conscientious (he checked in with us the day before the tour, picked us up at our hotel right on time and was a good driver, too) and a complete pleasure to spend the day with. His reverence for Teotihuacan and its inhabitants was palpable and contagious. This tour is the way to see and fully appreciate this awesome ancient site.

The amazing pyramids are best with an excellent guide

Noah was an excellent host, guide, driver and coordinator. We had a seamless pickup and a smooth ride from the Centro out to Teotihuacan. The tour then went to a local artisan collective where we sampled some craft spirits, learned some more about local crafts and had an opportunity to shop and rest a moment before going on the hike at the pyramids. The scale, history and story of the place cannot fail to impress - but it is key to have a knowledgeable & enthusiastic guide to bring it to life. Afterwards we went to the famous Gruta cave restaurant (get reservations) and had a smooth ride home. Excellent time for four adults and two kiddos, highly recommend.

Avoid the hustle, this tour has figure it out for you.

Took the private trip with Noe, picked us up on time on a comfortable vehicle. Noe was patient and kind taking into consideration we were traveling with our one year old boy, ensuring we were comfortable. Ivan was an amazing tour guide. Was at the hotel for pickup on time, did great navigating out of Mexico City and showed us several sights along the way. At Teotihuacán, he not only explained intricate details of the site but had books and other items to supplement what we were seeing. Fantastic tour and tour guide! Fermin is an amazing tour guide for this because he is an archeologist. Really the only way to tour Teotihuacan. Driver (Carlos) also excellent. The timing of the tour is best (to avoid crowds and to have lunch just after). Highly recommended!

The experience of being in a place with such a rich history alone is one of the greatest experiences my partner and I have had. What really made this experience all the more exceptional was our guide, Aldo. I tend to be wary of guided tours because they can feel so, well, touristy. With Aldo, it felt like we were with a friend who just so happened to be an expert on this place and its incredible culture. His expertise made everything we were seeing make sense, he took us on the perfect route through this massive site (seriously, after seeing this place on TV shows we thought we knew how big it was - we were wrong), helped us avoid large school crowds, and ensured we were comfortable every step of the way. Truly, I cannot say enough praise for the entire experience. Because of an individuals terrible behavior we saw while we were there, I wanted to remind people that one of the greatest things a person can do is share a piece of culture with you. Respect that this place was (is) significantly important and sacred to its people (and the world). Disrespecting a sacred site, arguing with your guide that the “Roman empire was far more advanced/relevant/important” are literally the dumbest things you could possibly do. If you possess that mindset, I wouldn’t waste your time by going here.

Raul was spectacular! His knowledge, wisdom, and humor made it a memorable fun experience. He knew how to get around the crowds. We didn’t feel rushed and he even had answers for our tangents. Raul knew the best places for photos. We were fortunate enough to be there during the solar eclipse and he taught us how to look through obsidian to view it. Everything from the tequila tasting, agave and obsidian history lesson and shopping stop was brilliant. Would highly recommend. Thank you Raul and all your friends for checking off a bucket list item. Tour would be great for any one or family.
