We had an incredible experience touring Teotihuacan with Ernesto. We were picked up from the hotel promptly at 7am and beat the crowd there. Ernesto was excellent. His deep knowledge and passion in the history is evident (with his background in Archaeology). Additionally, he gave us solid restaurant recommendations in Mexico City, and even took us to a carnitas place for lunch at the end of the tour. Unforgettable experience!

Private driver and guide made the day effortless. We were able to ask all the questions we wanted and spend time on areas we were interested in. Our guide Ernesto was very knowledgeable and alot of fun. We had a great tour, lunch, the trip out and back was easy, and he also provided insights into other activities to do in Mexico City. We had a great time on this tour of Teotihuacan! Our tour guide Eric was very knowledgeable, and gave us lots of information about the pyramids and the civilizations which inhabited Teotihuacan over time. He was very timely and communicative on pick up, and it was great to be picked up at our home. We were so glad to have done a private tour and leaving early in the morning means we had the whole place to ourselves which was so cool!!! We also really enjoyed the pulque tasting and artisanía which he took us to at the end of the tour. Lastly, he gave us some recommendations for food when we got back to the city which were delicious.

Ernesto was our guide for the day. We had arranged to pick us up at 7am at our hotel. When we came out of the hotel he was already waiting for us in a nice clear and large car. On the way to Teotihuacan we had a short stop to pick up a tea and coffee and just after 8am we were already at the side. Ernesto had a good feeling for what to tell. We had a very interesting journey through the old city. After 3 hours, many wonderful impressions and a lot of information we left the side for a nice lunch. After this we came satisfied and safely home. Ernesto many thanks.

Our tour guide, Pepe, is knowledgeable and patient. He covered a range of topics from history to culture right from picking us up till the end of the tour. We are traveling with young kids (5yo & 9yo) and he kept them engaged and interested! We enjoyed the trip very much and learnt alot about the Teotihuacan and Mexico.

Would highly recommend this tour. Our family out 4 did it (kiddos 16 and 20). Boaz was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Had so much information to share and also helpful explaining things about Mexico City on the drive. Explored the entire complex lots of information, walking around, climbing steps, we learned a lot and had fun!

Our guide, Francisco (Frank) was prompt and courteous. He was a wealth of knowledge on all kinds of things. I noted the blue and pink houses on the hillside on the outskirts of the citg on our way to the site and he told me the story of the advertising character Dr. Simi. Apparently, from above - or even on the drive back - his "face" appears, created by the painted houses. On the site itself he was full of detailed information, answering all the questions we had, including about the flora and fauna in the vicinity. This was really worth the money paid.

I booked this trip for my family, the guide picked up us at the hotel on time, and the overall experience was good. We all loved this historical site, it was quite impressive, and definitely worth to visit. The restaurant we ate was OK, not great, but not horrible either. Also, we hoped our guide was not on the phone that much, but spent more time explaining to us the site.

Pepe was a wonderful, knowledgeable and understanding guide. I forgot my phone at my hotel and he was kind to drive me back to pick it up. Then happily took us to Basilica de Guadalupe even though it was not added or discussed previously. He adapted to our needs and likes. In addition to this we really felt we understand Teotihuacan and Basilica de Guadalupe history a lot better.

This was a really great day. The pyramids are fascinating and getting there early before the crowds and the heat are key. Communication was great and our guide Ernesto was fantastic. He was clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the archeology, but more than that, he wanted to make sure we had a good time.

We had a great time with Ernesto. He came to pick us up on time. As we didn’t have any breakfast, we stopped at the petrol station on the way and got coffee and a sendwich. We arrived at Teotihuacan just as they were opening, there were barely any people. We had the complex to ourselves, it was amazing. Ernesto is a former archeologist, so he has a deep knowledge of his country’s history and about the whole site. We learned a lot. We had to cut the experience a bit short, as our daughter wasn’t feeling well even the day before and our niece started to feel poorly too. That was the great advantage of a private tour. We decided to call it quits, went for lunch at La Gruta ( another cool experience) and then Ernesto drove us to our hotel. The whole site is huge, about 4 km long, you will be walking a lot. You can climb on the first pyramid, not on the pyramid of the Sun or Moon. It is amazing to see it with your own eyes and imagine what still lies uncovered all around.
