What To Expect

There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but these unique Segway tours provide an entirely new perspective on Miami’s South Beach and Biscayne Bay waterfront regions.

Riding on a Segway isn’t difficult, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one. The South Beach tour begins near Collins Avenue and the Biscayne Bay riverfront tour begins at the Bayside Marketplace, with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. Additionally, all passengers must weight between 100 and 300 pounds to participate.

With the training out of the way, it’s time to hit the open road.

The South Beach tour passes by the Villa Casa Casuarina, aka the Versace Mansion, the famous Art Deco District, the Lincoln Road Mall all the way to the edge of beautiful Biscayne Bay. Along the way, enjoy stops for photo opps of the Miami skyline and other landmark locations and learn about the rich history, culture and architecture of this unique and popular part of Miami.

On the Biscayne Bay tour, glide along the Miami Riverwalk, extending along the north side of the Miami River and Biscayne Bay through Bayfront Park. This is where the Atlantic Ocean, Miami River and Biscayne Bay all merge together into one beautiful body of crystal clear water. Learn about the fascinating history of this region, highlighted by the 2,000-year-old archeological sites, and see the luxurious high-rise condos, multi-million dollar yachts and mammoth cruise ships.

This Miami Segway adventure concludes back at its starting point near Collins Avenue or the Bayside Marketplace.

Great and fun way to learn more about current and history of Miami Beach. Gabriel our tour guide was very knowledgeable, gave sufficient insight and time to make pictures and made sure we felt safe and comfortable on the Segway

Saw a lot of Miami Beach, stopped at Holocaust Memorial and Garden. We take these tours almost everywhere we go to learn about the area. We couldn't hear our guide and there were only 2 of us in our group.

Great tour, great way to see all of Miami Beach in a quick easy way. Our family did a combo of Segway and bikes. We all signed up for segways but a few people did not feel comfortable with the Segway after trying it so they let them switch to a bike which was very nice

Our tour guide Fernando was really knowledgeable and super friendly. He also did a really good job helping teach us how to ride this segways. We also really like the route, which went down some beautiful tree lined avenues. There were multiple cool stops, including the botanical garden, which was awesome.

Great fun and an alternative way to see south beach sites - I highly recommend booking this 2 hour tour which was great value and was enjoyed by everyone. Riding the segway is a little strange but within less than a few minutes you are more than comfortable. One point to note is that Segway's in Miami Beach, can only be booked through a tour operatror and not directly leased.

Unfortunately on arrival at the prescribed time we were advised that our Segway tour had been combined with a bike tour and would be leaving 30 minutes late to synchronize the tours. We weren’t advised of this prior to arriving or booking. There were 3 riders in each tour group. As the Segways are a lot faster than the bikes this meant we spent time waiting for bikes to catch up at intersections ultimately resulting in less time for us at points of interest. On the positive, Gabrielle knows the area and history well so each stop revealed a few more gems. The area we covered was amazing. Gabrielle also ensured our safety managing traffic when needed. It was just disappointing about the way it was organized. The 2 tours should not have been combined as in my opinion this was detrimental to both groups. Alternatively ensure that it’s communicated at time of booking it is a combined tour to support an informed decision

Real chill and relaxed. The guide was a local who clearly enjoyed what he did and took us around South Beach showing us the sights. Stopped by the botanical garden and rode through the art deco district. Learning to ride the Segway was easy and I would totally do it again.

Great experience! Enjoyed seeing the architecture and history of South Beach art Deco district and the Segway is a great fun way to cover the most ground when time is limited. While passing by the botanical center I stumbled upon the Holocaust memorial, and although it wasn't part of the tour I would most definitely recommend anyone to visit, it was impactful and raw to say the least. I think my tour guide name was Gabriel and he was just great, I would definitely recommend this company and their tours.
