An incredible experience and a MUST do for anyone coming to Nairobi!

What an incredible experience - easily one of the best I've ever had travelling! Typhoon, Quick, King, and Priest are all extremely kind and have a very inspiring story. It was great to learn about their journey and it is incredible the positive impact they're having on their community. I feel very grateful to have met them and I am walking away from this day with a lot of great new insights and memories. Don't hesitate to book them :)

Would totally recommend! Typhoon and Priest were the best company to explore downtown Nairobi with. I felt safe and had a lot of fun, and learned many new things.

This was an amazing way to see Nairobi. Quick, Typhoon, Tsunami and the Priest were excellent tour guides. They shared their stories with us as we saw the streets of downtown. The food at the end was a great way to try authentic African cuisine.

It was one in the lifetime experience. My guide was Quick (I called him Speed) and he shared his life story while we walked through the downtown in Nairobi. It was authentic and real. I felt absolutely safe throughout the tour. This is absolutely a must do tour in Nairobi.

Mind changing experience

This was a really unique experience with a deep dive into the true life of the street kids. I really appreciated that I was constantly guided by a number of guys who kept an eye on me and took care of my security. What I enjoy most is that the guys gathered together to make some money on sharing their life behind the curtains instead of just begging or living in poverty. So, this entrepreneurship is worthwhile. We explored the city centre and traveled by bus to the slams where I could also see how the life is organized. Frankly, this was the first time for me to see so much trash along the river banks and so close to the residential areas. But this is the tough life of the slams. One has to see it with their own eyes.

I did this tour in August and it was one of the best and most insightful experiences I had while travelling in East Africa. The one and only (who also goes by king I believe) was a fantastic guide with a great sense of humour. His story was humbling and left a lasting impact. I highly recommend this tour!

Best tour to meet the Nairobi city

The guys are very kind, polite and friendly. If you are not used to a violent city or undeveloped city, please don't be afraid of this tour, you will miss a great experience in your life to meet closer a different city, culture and people's history. The guides are very known in the city, every corner there's a friend to also greet you and have a small chat, so it's relatively safe, but please still take care with your belongings and pockets, since the tour is in a crowded part of the city (as you should in any big city in the world). I did my tour with King, a very respectful person to my wife and I, and he's very professional. His story is heartbreaking, and his present is an inspiration for us. I will never forget it, and if I didn't do this tour I couldn't say that I really went to Nairobi.

Eye Opening Experience with Tsunami, King and Cheddar Cheese

My family and I were unsure what to expect for the walking tutor with previous street children… however, the experience completely outweighed any potential expectations. Our guides (Tsunami, King, Cheddar Cheese) made us feel safe and comfortable amongst the craziness. It was definitely a once in a life time experience and we were able to learn so much. I would highly recommend for someone who is looking for an eye opening experience.

I had a great time with Cheddar Cheese. He took me on a short walk round a downtown part of Nairobi, stopping at particular points of interest to tell me about the area and about its significance to him. It was really interesting talking to him about his hard life in Kenya, both past and present. I echo everyone else's comments by really recommending this tour. I was also a female on my own but felt completely safe and at ease with Cheddar Cheese. He even helped me book a taxi back to my hotel which was really kind. Such a fascinating and memorable experience!

Such an interesting and enlightening way to see Nairobi! Our guide told incredible stories about his life that gave such a unique insight and totally different "tourist" experience. What an amazing experience, I was hesitant at first but was so insightful and felt completely safe, the people in nairobi are so friendly! Kings story was heartbreaking but the work he is doing is great, we definitely had the best tour guide. Make sure you have water and walking shoes, you will learn so much and see a side that you normally wouldn’t, a great incentive! Good luck to king and all those involved!!
