The visitor center is located at 110 Leake Avenue

Arrive 20 minutes before your tour time and redeem your voucher at our Visitor Service desk. They will direct you to your tour.
The grounds are wheelchair accessible and the first floor of the Mansion is also wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the side porch. Please bring your own wheelchair, walker, cane, or scooter to ensure your comfort. There is an elevator that provides service between the lower and upper levels of the Visitor Center.
We suggest a minimum of 2 hours on site for the guided tour, complimentary wine tasting, and self-guided tour of Grounds, Outbuildings and Shopping. If you are on the last tour of the day please plan to see the grounds prior to your tour. Grounds and Outbuildings are locked at 5pm.
Parking on site is free
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 25 travelers

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The history of the estate was fascinating! Information about the slaves was also included & did not make excuses/apologies for the fact that slavery was part of the lifestyle at that time! The wine was excellent!

Our tour guide had only been on the job for 3 days. Everyone on our tour was shocked at this because she was so knowledgeable! She was phenominal at explaining everything including the lives of each family member. She answered all questions asked & gave us the history of the families & the mansion itself like a pro. Very enjoyable. I'd highly recommend this tour!

We enjoyed our visit to Belle Meade. Our tour guide, Willie, was very informative sharing the interesting history of the generations of the family that lived there. It was fabulous to see how the mansion looked back in its day. We enjoyed the wine and bourbon tasting as well as walking around the area. I highly recommend visiting the Belle Meade if you are in the area.

If you like history of Belle Meade and horse racing you will enjoy it. You can walk around the grounds after your tour, have ice cream, wine (after the complimentary tasting) and purchase memories at the gift shop. We sat outside in a covered are with a bottle of wine.

Definitely Worth the Visit

About 10 minutes outside of Nashville lies this beautiful piece of land. The tour includes a good amount of background knowledge and I like how they focus a lot on the slaves and figuring out their identities. The wine tasting at the end is quick but enjoyable. You get to try 1 red, 1 white and 2 dessert wines. The white one and dessert wines were my favorite. Not included on tour but I recommend - you can also walk around the property after the tour like we did, sample some bourbon and even get food if you want. Highly recommend this tour!!

The history and tour was magnificent! The wine tasting was just that a tasting so don't expect any more than an ounce of wine per taste. Walking the grounds and exploring all the buildings is very worth the money! Love it!

Belle Meade tour was my favourite part of our entire two week visit to Tennessee. The estate is gorgeous. We were lucky to visit on a stunningly beautiful spring day. The grounds are immaculate. It was easy to imagine the residents of the past walking the same grounds we were walking. The out buildings are very interesting. We loved the guided mansion tour. Our tour guide, Gavin was amazing. He was knowledgeable, interesting, attentive and even had some very amusing jokes for us. We really enjoyed Gavin, he is a fantastic young man. The Mansion was an absolute feast for the eyes. Gavin gave us plenty of time to try to take in all of the sights. The history lesson given by Gavin was amazing. I loved every minute of it. After our wonderful tour we had a lovely wine tasting and we also stayed for lunch. The entire morning at Belle Meade was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone. If you love history, old buildings and their stories this is the place to go.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the mansion and families that lived there. I was bummed we were not allowed to take photos inside the mansion at all, but we were able to on the grounds. The wine tasting was fun and I experienced a couple very delicious wines!!! I recommend the tour to learn a little history and for something interesting to do.
