Betsy our guide, was funny and informative. The pace was leisurely and there is a stop halfway through to get a drink or use a restroom. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

We did this tour in April 2023, and truly I would not do it again. The pace was so slow and despite us and others telling our guide she could walk faster, it just dragged on and on. People peeled of early and the cemetery was closed at the end but we got a long explanation of the process of funerals etc in NOLA, ugh. We asked our guide for some lunch recommendations in the area and she could not really help us out. Save your money.

We had a great time on our tour. Betsy was an amazing guide. We got a history lesson, learned all about the amazing architecture in the garden district and got a lesson on NO cemeteries. She had a lot of great stories and because of the small size was happy to answer our questions along the way. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NOLA.

It was fascinating to hear the history of new Orleans’s cemetery and homes in the garden district. The guide, DeAna, was funny and knowledgeable. She is a native and included her own family history. It was great to hear abs learn from a native.
