Best Food Tour Ever!

This was hands down the best food tour my family has ever taken anywhere in the world. We have taken food tours in Cartegena, Paris, Santiago, Quebec City, etc. Jack was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, charismatic, and organized. He managed to keep my twin 10 year olds engaged and trying all of the foods on this tour which included boudin, gumbo, callis, praline shortbread, muffuletta, and po’boy. Highly recommend this tour.

“Tour guide” doesn’t really do her justice. Walking through The Quarter with Melanie feels like your learning with your favorite teacher! She taught for 29 years and is a teacher at heart. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about New Orleans history and seemed to enjoy teaching as much as we enjoyed learning. She is thorough, fun, and engaging. Our only wish is that we could have spent some time in Treme to learn more about its history and culture. Even so, this is a can’t miss tour for anyone looking! Choose Melanie. You won’t regret it!

Ms. Boulet was very knowledgeable about the French quarter and was able to answer all the questions we asked. She took us to places outside of the “normal” French quarter tour and it was delightful. We ranged from the river all the way over to Congo square. Her background in history is evident, as is her love for New Orleans and Louisiana.
