What To Expect

Your frightful tour of one of the country’s most haunted cities begins in central New Orleans. Meet your guide at your selected start time, at either Louis Armstrong Park or the New Orleans Jazz Museum, depending on your chosen tour.

You can also upgrade to the VIP tour, which comes complete with Hellvision: projected digital photos that enhance the storytelling. This unique, immersive feature makes this tour stand apart from other ghost excursions.

As you set off after dark, have the special chance to see a different side of the Big Easy. Pass through the atmospheric and notorious streets in the French Quarter, and follow your guide through the crowds and straight to the city’s most supposedly haunted destinations. This was an okay tour. The guides, Jeremy and Moira, were good storytellers. However, it felt a little low energy- this could reflect the day (Monday) or the quiet participants. Or, possibly because the guides were tag teaming and had only just met. Anyway, it’s a perfectly fine tour but nothing special.

While our group initially expected more ghost stories, we thoroughly enjoyed the variety of stories and the history surrounding the tales depicted on the Dim Corner tour! Many in our group afterwards looked up the different individuals to learn more information as The Professor told us the stories in such an engaging and informative way. We all loved the knowledge he was able to share, and could sense the passion and enjoyment he has for the local history of New Orleans. Our group also appreciated the real camaraderie (cursing and hard topics included) from our guide, as it didn’t feel scripted, it felt unique to our group even if other tours get the same stories. I would definitely book another tour with this company, especially with The Professor, should I ever find myself back in New Orleans again!
