What To Expect
Start your New York City outer boroughs tour by meeting at the designated location in Midtown Manhattan. If you’ve chosen pickup when booking, instead, get picked up at your preferred location you picked. This tour is a great introduction to New York City’s less explored areas, outside of Manhattan.
Once you’re with your group and guide, take off through Harlem. Stop at attractions such as the Apollo Theater and listen to your guide tell you all about the history of the area.
Next, continue through the Bronx to see Yankee Stadium, the Big Pun Mural, and the Bronx–Whitestone Bridge before heading to Queens.
In Queens, top highlights include Flushing Meadows Corona Park and the Koscuiuszko Bridge. Cross the bridge over into Brooklyn with your guide leading the way to see Williamsburg and Crown Heights.
Your last adventure on this New York City boroughs tour is at Coney Island. Afterward, head back to Manhattan.

This is my second visit to New York and I was keen to experience other areas of the city outside of Manhattan. Our guide Emmanuel provided excellent commentary throughout the tour, providing lots of interesting snippets of information as we passed various landmarks and neighbourhoods across the Bronx, Queens & Brooklyn. We had opportunities to stop & explore a few places for about 15-20 mins each before reaching Coney Island, where we had just over an hour to explore at our leisure. The tour was efficient and well run, and we made it back to Grand Central in good time. Overall I enjoyed the tour and learned a lot, it was a great way to spend the day and experience what life is really like in New York.

It was a great tour of the new york Burroughs! The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The only improvement suggesstion was the temperature of the bus. It got pretty hot on the bus and the ac wasn't working. Otherwise, would definitely recommend.

We always visit Manhattan and decided to venture out during this trip. We are so glad we did as Jorge was one of the best tour guides we have had. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the history of the boroughs. The empanadas from the bodega were amazing and so were the hot dogs from Nathan’s. 10/10 and I highly recommend.

Our guide Jorge was absolutely amazing . The best part of the trip was all of his FACTS and interesting stories of the most photographed landmarks around . Oscar our driver maneuvered the streets like we were in a mini van!

The tour started late and finished early (the Brooklyn option) in spite of us spending an inordinately long time in unexpected traffic, and we really saw very little. The guide didn't seem particularly engaged with the group or the tour and frequently didn't know his right from his left. Nor did he know much beyond the superficial about the things he did mention: I asked him a question which he couldn't answer but which was answered by Google, at the top of the search page, and which was a key part of the history of the 'Spirit of Harlem' mural. Very disappointing: I could have learned and seen more on a self-guided audio tour using the transit system to get around.

Jorge was a great tour guide. We learned a lot about the history and people of the areas we visited. The tour should do a better job of posting that if you take the five hours tour you are on your own to get back to midtown from the Brooklyn Bridge.
