Beyond our expectations!

My boyfriend & I were gifted this experience by my sister in law. As native New Yorkers, we admit that we don’t take advantage of the history & experiences this city has to offer, as much as we’d like. I’ve been to Little Italy plenty of times for San Genaro, but never took the time to really look into the history of the neighborhood. Dennis was extremely knowledgeable & informative. His personal experience gave the tour a unique perspective. He had all the answers to questions our group had. The food along the way was delicious. From spaghetti & meatballs, to fresh homemade mozzarella, to eggplant rollatini & cannolis to perfectly conclude the tour. It was easy to follow along, as Dennis provided headphones for the group to hear him as we were walking. So much better than the conventional waiting for everyone in the group to catch up, struggling to hear the guide speak. He was very efficient & kept the tour moving along, with the occasional stops & quick fact recaps. So glad we were able to do this & can’t wait for the documentary coming out on Amazon Prime that he was a part of. (That’s how you know everything he said was legit!) Very interesting and highly entertaining. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you, Dennis!

What an amazing evening! Do yourself a favor and take this tour, you won’t regret it! We had a great night of delicious Italian food and great true-crime stories from a retired NYPD detective who grew up in the area. Definitely a highlight of the trip!

John thank you for taking time to review. Unfortunately my husband is the only guide for this experience and has been admitted to the hospital for severe Covid infection. We have provided proof of admission to Viator. Once it was decided he must be admitted we utilized the Viator cancellation system which unfortunately did not contact every participant as we had expected. There's are trying times for everyone while the city tries to operate under new Covid infection.We've processed your refund and have also extended a return trip on the experience with no cost once Dennis is released from the hospital. I appreciate the inconvenience of having to travel two hours and not be greeted by the experience. We hope we can make it up to you on a return visit. Incredible tour guide

The tour guide was incredible! He was so through and detailed about the crime history in Little Italy! The best part was that he was from the area and had an intimate knowledge about the events and people that could only be known through living through it! Honestly, this was one of the best tours that we went on and the food was just perfect! If you love crime history great food, and immersion, this is the tour for you!

Best tour I have been on in awhile

I had the best time on this tour. The food was filling (we went on the 11:30 tour and it was all we ate all day. We were not hungry later and I am a plus size girl!) The tour guide was informative and very kind. He told us all kinds of stories about the gangsters and famous cases. I def recommend.

What can I say? This crime and food walk was one of the highlights of our trip. Mid June, 2021, my daughter and I went to NY and she's into 'true crime'. We did a little research and came across this tour. It was amazing. Dennis is gracious and kind and a wonderful guide. The night last a few hours. We had amazing food along the way. And learned about Little Italy's historical mob roots. Dennis grew up in the area, knows all the local haunts and shares his story along the way. I've recommended to all my friends to look him up if they are ever in NY. The food alone justifies the price. Add in the history and Dennis' warmth and knowledge and it's a no brainer.

The Mafia, a ball of freshly made Mozzarella, NY's best Pizza, meatballs and Eggplant parm, a real cannoli and lemon ice! And you thought this was just a tour LOL. Grear dollar value, great experience, and a great history tour that is cleverly combined with some great food stops. Go for it!
