Worth checking out

The art pieces were unique and the building looked like it was built yesterday. The customer service and security were nice. They also had a nice and quaint cafe with friendly service.
Truthfulness

Nothing to say much about the museum itself, but for an individual who is not familiar and fully appreciative or understand some of the modern art displayed then it was just for me another pastime.
Don’t miss it!
Laura_M, Jul 2023
Great experience many of the greats up close. The flow of the building was a great set up. You can see everything in about hour
Museum great, Viator awful!
Celeste_C, Jul 2023
There was no tour guide as promised! I used your messaging system twice to ask, and no one responded! I had to go through the museum on my own. The exhibits were fabulous! And the staff was helpful in making my visit a pleasure despite the lack of a Viator tour guide! I could have done without Viator and booked the visit elsewhere. Will not use Viator again.
Lovely experience

Beautiful building, nice exhibitions. Loved Gego and Sarah Sze. Unfortunately they did not display Kandynski:(

When I arrived I was told by two different staff (one was a manger ) that they did not accept the Viator Confirmation number for tickets. I had to buy tickets again.

Snooze fest
PaulTotah, May 2023
This was a very disappointing experience. A complete snooze fest; don’t waste your money. The museum and exhibits are very underwhelming. Perhaps the exception is Young Picasso.
Going to the Guggenheim

The whole process was super easy. Pulled the tickets up on my phone at the museum and got right in to see the exhibit.

Structure and how it accommodates the visitors . The way it looks from the outside. Looks more like a private residence than a museum.
Don’t miss this wonderful experience!

This was a wonderfully surprising addition to our NYC “ museum immersion” during a recent trip! We particularly loved the Justin Thannhauser Collection highlighting some of the most wonderful Impressionist artists! A must for anyone visiting The Big Apple!
Ok but !!
Raymond_H, Nov 2022
The building and gallery of impressionist artists was good. However, the art of Alex Katz was boring and I thought I was in a high school art class showing!! Sen his art back to Brooklyn!
Weird Boobs and Funky Colors
Jinho_C, Aug 2022
There was a specific gallery where my sister who has never taken an art class can paint better than. The mutilated breasts and other body parts were disgusting and should not be called art. If you are a Kandinsky fan, you will enjoy, otherwise, you will not.
Beautiful museum
judi_g, Aug 2022
Loved it would go back over and over and highly recommend to friends Loved all the exhibits and the architecture is beautiful.
Comfortable & enjoyable
Jo_B, Jul 2022
The lady with the iron & the lady with the bird & the spinning triangulation . I enjoyed the movement of the building most and many more of the art work . No wait time
Best reason to go to NY
Corinne_Z, May 2022
Kandinsky exhibit was totally worth a trip! Plus a great little cafe! Beautiful building that is worth seeing!
Good Art
Robert_B, May 2022
It was my first time at the Guggenheim. I was with four friends. We had limited time, made more limited by entry procedures, but late arrival help. The art was very worthy, but the crowds were incredible; I think this was a result of it being a rainy Monday when the Metropolitan Museum was closed. Anyway, despite our mistakes, the Guggenheim delivered for us.
Disappointing
Cindy_P, Mar 2022
Long wait in the cold. Much too frantic about covid. Too few interesting artists, only Kandinksi. Were in and out within 30 min.
Interesting
LINDA_S, Mar 2022
Was a unique building. Will say expressionism isn’t my fav art style. And the mask expo was kind of creepy but glad we went.
Kandinsky exhibit was...
Janet_D, Mar 2022
Kandinsky exhibit was wonderful. Viator’s website did not actually produce tickets and it took extra effort at the museum center to verify ticket purchase.
Excellent
