If you pay in advance you shouldn't have to stand in line for 20 minutes outside then 20 minutes inside to get my tickets. Next time I will be getting them from somewhere else.

I was expecting more for some reason, but it really is a great museum. They ended up opening 10 minutes late the day we were there, so there was a line all the way around the corner of the block.

Easy entry - no issues & glad I bought in advance- thank you! Very long line to get in - but it moved pretty quickly thanks to having enough staff. We did not tour just followed our own path which is how we preferred.

It was wonderful sharing this experience with my son. Beautiful displays of animals, fossils, birds, bugs, metorites, earth, plants, ocean life and so much more. A must see.

This museum is HUGE! We were very entertained but by the end alittle fed up. It is not like jn the movie which was a little bit of let down for the kids. It was still a good day out and we dis learn new things

Plan to be here alllllll day or multiple days!! This place is huge!!!!! Please be aware there is a security process and the line to get to the front door wraps around the building. Took about 45-1 hr to just reach the door. We weren’t aware. Then once you’re in you have to redeem your tickets and that’s another 30-40 min line. Be aware if booking through Viator to also visit the museum website to book your arrival time! It was an amazing day. We didn’t get to do it all. Great to come by for a couple days to conquer all

Lots of interesting things to see. Be prepared to walk alot...wear comfortable footwear. Four floors in total. Loved seeing all the dinosaur exhibits and various extinct animals

Beautiful and expansive museum with a little bit of everything for everyone. Make sure to allow a lot of time here- there’s more there than you can see even in a day! We bought the regular admission tickets with no add/ons- we never would have had time for them. Get there when they open, too. The museum is easily accessed by subway which makes it convenient.

I haven't been to the Museum of American History since I was a child in Public School and I must say that I'm STILL IMPRESSED!!! The exhibits are exquisite and better than ever!!! Now my family is able to enjoy the same experience I did as a child!!! We'll be back to visit the Hayden Planetarium next time!!!

Very large and interesting museum. A bit old school in its presentation. Would’ve been nice to have audiovisual explanation or a tour guide. We enjoyed the mammals exhibit more than the dinosaurs.
