Hello there !, thanks for sharing your comments!
This Miguel , Lescas Co Tour Guide
an yes March 2024 is has been hotter than expected , but not only here but all over the world this is the case , our tour tries to be as soon as Monte alban opens (830-845am) not only because of the heat but also to avoid other big groups , but at the same time you need to remember its an archaeological site, ruins, pyramides, etc, , walking , exploring will be outside and up the hill , up the pyramids ... So ...
If you are interested on this and appreciate the history and cultural heritage requires to do an effort to enjoy it , no matter the circumstances (rain, heat, jungle, etc), we suggest to bring water and a hat or choosing other months to visit this when the weather suits you !
And on the other hand , this is guided tour and as a Tour Guide myself is very difficult to summarize 3000 years of history in 2 hours on the contrary people always tell me to share more with them , I Cannot rush to the site but i do look for trees with a nice shade to talk about it ,of course you are always free to walk on you own , no problem !if you prefer Wikipedia, Doing a guided Tour might not be for you ! you can always do our shuttle transportation without a guide that we also provide every hour .
And when it comes to stay longer and spend more money?well...to us You will only pay for the Tour and your admission fee at the site , its up to you how much more will you expend (restaurant, water , hat, beer , ice cream, souvenirs, books, etc)
Sorry for the inconveniences, wish i had know before all of this so as to help you out
