Please note we go to multiples hotels and the pick up time will be Morning tour: between 6:15am and 7am or Afternoon tour: between 1:20pm and 2pm For all clients outside the downtown area like Westin Playa Bonita or Dream Playa Bonita, they need to meet us in any hotel inside the downtowns like Hilton Balboa Avenue or we could go to your place for you; but, we charge extra fee US$20 to cover round trip transfer for your party (1-14 pax). Return point: Returns to original departure point.

What To Expect

Be ready for convenient pickup at your Panama City hotel; morning or afternoon departure times are available.

Travel to the Gamboa Marina in an air-conditioned tour vehicle with your guide and group. Transfer to a riverboat for a ride on the Chagres River. Observe wildlife including the white-face monkeys, howler monkeys, and Geoffrey´s tamarinds during this tour. Snap photos and learn about the different species from your guide.

Return to the marina and to Panama City the way you came; your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

Daniel , our tour guide was on time and very informative. They gave us safety tips in interacting with the monkeys and of course a life jacket. We saw iguanas , different species of birds but the crocodile did not come out that day for us to see it. Would definitely recommend this tour. We got to see and interact with the different monkeys. The tour was not overcrowded like the other boats. Book with them. You won’t be disappointed. Book the earliest time , the monkeys will be up and waiting for you.

Great tour and the monkeys were engaging. We saw 2 types. The guides really knew the environment and did what needed to be done to attract the monkeys to the boat…. It was 100% the monkey’s decision to come onboard. They also briefed us on how to behave with wild animals

10/10 would recommend we did the 2pm tour, saw 3 types of monkey, crocodiles, bats, birds, iguanas you name it we saw it. Tour guides were amazing and polite and knowledgeable.

It was worth every penny. I got to see 3 types of monkey. The white face monkeys came right up to everyone on the boat. There were also small bats, crocodiles, and birds along the way there and back.

Such an enjoyable excursion. Got to see plenty of monkeys and other wildlife while cruising in the Panama Canal. Prompt, courteous, and professional is how I would describe the staff. Would definitely do this again.

Daniel, the guide, was very knowledgeable and personable. We were disappointed in the there not being water available to the travelers as there has been in every other tour that we have been on in the area. I would suggest that Daniel or whomever is the guide translate into English what the person describing things on the boat (Yuliet on this trip) was saying. The vehicle we returned to Panama City, which was not the vehicle we were picked up, in was very hot, with little or no air conditioning.

We got picked up and dropped off right from our hotel. The tour guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. Daniel did a great job! We had a semi private tour (there were two of us and we had four total people) while other boats we saw out there were packed with around 15-20 people. The monkeys came right up to us on the boats! Very great experience! Highly recommend this tour and company

Perfect tour we were looking for. Daniel and van picked us up on time. Explained history of Canal on way to boat. Boat was of better quality than some we saw(newer and bigger outboard motor). Stopped and saw mokeys up close, some jumped on pur lap and were very gentle. 100% recommend Daniel. Were only 4 on tour ao very personalised.

Monkey Island Success

Kenny was a wonderful guide and the visit to Monkey Island proved to be very productive. We saw all three species of monkeys, a sloth, and two crocodiles. The captain of the boat was very knowledgeable of the islands and how the animals would react. The whole trip was excellent from start to finish.

This trip was super fun and educational! Our tour guide Daniel started teaching us all about Panama the moment we set foot on the bus. We toured through the middle of the Panama Canal, which was a pleasant surprise, and then through the jungle to see the monkeys. The tour guides were very knowledgeable about where and how to see the monkeys. Our patience paid off in the end and we saw all three species of monkeys!

Amazing experience you have to do this tour while you are here in Panama . It is incredible experience to see monkeys interact and eat from our hands Kevin is a wonderful tour guide, kind, knowledgeable and worked his magic for all of us to see howlers, tamarin , and white face capuchin monkeys, sloth , crocodiles, and native birds. It is great experience and a lot of fun . I highly recommend it .

Monkeys ate out of my hand!

Mario provided an enjoyable tour on the water seeing monkeys up close. The first sighting of monkeys was a little disappointing since they didn’t seem interested in visiting the boat. However, Mario and the boat driver knew where to go and how to attract the monkeys. We wound up seeing 4 different kinds as and 3 of them visited the boat and took food out of our hands. We also saw alligators and large turtles. The boat wasn’t overcrowded so everyone could see and participate.
