Wonderful bike tour of Parma

Davide is a wonderful guide. It is fascinating to see how Parmigiano Reggiano is made, and to see some of Parma’s most beautiful sights by bicycle. Highly recommended!

The highlight of my trip to Italy

This 4 hour bike tour was the highlight of my trip to Italy. I haven't ridden a bike in 20 years so I was afraid to ride through the streets, but the man in charge had me practice before we went out. He told me to stay behind him just in case I needed anything. Once we started, it was a really nice ride through the streets of Italy. As soon as cars see you coming everybody stops and Everyone in the group looks out for each other. We rode into the countryside to the cheese factory, watched them make the cheese and then we tasted different aged cheeses. This one trip that I would do again. I had so much fun!

We enjoyed riding through the countryside of Parma very much. Riding in the city streets not so much, it is very difficult unless you are an experienced biker. The cheese learnings were very nice as was the food tasting afterword, but disappointed we did not actually see the cheesemakers producing cheese, only an empty shop with our tour guide telling us how they make it. David tour guide was very nice.

Our guide was great! An easy bike ride out to a cheese factory and a cool tour/tasting. Then we beat the rain and enjoyed some more meats, cheeses, and wine at a local salumeria. Would definitely recommend for a beautiful afternoon in Parma!

Davide is a wonderful and charismatic guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and is clearly so passionate about what he does. The biking is serene, peaceful, and easy, and Davide took us for a longer ride throughout the countryside after seeing how much we enjoyed it. Despite our riding in heavy rain, Davide delivered a great experience. He is an engaging and well informed host who brought the practice of cheesemaking to life. We had the most incredible time biking through Parma and learning about parmigiano reggiano. It became clear how intentional and seeded in tradition the process of making parmigiano reggiano was and our tour guide was passionate about sharing and teaching us the background and importance. We had a magical time. Our tour guide was very in tune with the needs and temperature of the group and couldn’t have been better. The bike ride was easy and very enjoyable. The luncheon was the cherry on top. The mortadella and Lambrusco was wildly delicious. 10/10 recommend!

Davide was an excellent guide and the tour is just perfect. If you just get to go to Parma for a day with this tour not only you get to learn how traditional Parmesan cheese gets made, but also you get to taste different cold cuts produced in Parma and you get to know the town riding a bike! I enjoyed it A LOT! Thanks Davide for this experience :) I recommend that if you go in april, go with warm clothing because early it gets pretty cold.
