Maximum weight per person is 245 pounds. For safety reasons, customers will be weighed at check-in.

Bioluminescent is a beautiful experience and with or without moon we could use a tarp.
Kayaks are double (2 people per kayak). Odd numbers groups will be paired with another person on the tour. Single kayaks cannot be guaranteed to odd numbers. Children will only be assigned with their parents or family member of the same party.
All participants must be able to row the kayak and complete the tour.
Participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or with any type of misconduct won't be allowed.
Pregnant travelers cannot participate
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Incredible experience. Very professional group. My husband and I took our three kids age 12,13, and 20 and we all loved it. Jesus and crew were fantastic, he gave a really fun talk about the dinoflagellates and was very knowledgeable. We felt very safe with these guys. The water was warm and beautiful. The stars were shining both Above us in the sky and below us in the water. Magical! Divine! It was even during the full moon, but that no way impeded the ability to view the bioluminescence. This trip exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone headed to Puerto Rico

Amazing, don’t miss out on this!!!

This was one of the best things we could’ve done on the island! The group that took care of us were fantastic and attentive. I felt very safe the whole time since the guides were spread amongst the group at all times and knowing the water in the canal was only 2-4ft deep put my mind at ease. The beauty of this experience can’t be talked about enough because it’s just something you have to see in person. Even if you’re not an experienced kayaker, it was very easy. Hands down I would do it again!

This tour is a joke. You kayak out to a lagoon expecting to see Bioluminecence. They lined up the people and kayaks and had you cover up with a tarp and swish your hand around in the water. Very disapointed. Total waste of time and money.

There were 4-5 instructors guiding us through the entire tour. They were professional, caring and entertaining. The moon was very bright but they figured out to use a huge cloth cover us so that we could see the fluorescence very clear in the dark. Amazing tour!

From booking throughout the excursion everything was perfect. It was a full moon with overcast and we saw tons of blue beautifully glowing algae! They brought out the tarp to block out any light and everything REALLY glowed. Looked like blue sparkles!

JESUS IS THE MAN!!!!! Not only was he purely entertaining but he was also extremely knowledgeable about the bio bay. Him and he’s team were amazing at guiding and keeping everyone accounted for. This tour was an amazing experience. I have definitely come away feeling educated on all things bioluminescence. Aside from the tour, Jesus really was very charismatic and had everyone singing smash mouth! We loved every minute, Overall grand time! A definite must for PR! BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHS! 👍🏻✨

Our guide was super knowledgeable and fun. This really added to the already amazing experience seeing the bioluminescence. It was like glitter you could pour. Cameras can’t capture the beauty so you really have to be in the moment

I normally don’t like to leave reviews but I want to thanks to this great team bring us to see this beautiful views not only the glowing seas but also full stars in sky. It was really dark, my son and I was drift away from group, Jonathan hooked us with his kayak leading us to the right track. So thank you Jonathan. We also touched the glowing jelly fish which is great experience. William is very funny and great guide. Alone with other 2 also very helpful I just can’t remember their names so total 4 guides with group of 8 boats you are very safe with them.

This was honestly my first time kayaking and I had a blast!! The crew was super professional, prepared, and fun. The bioluminescence was pretty cool too, it wasn’t suuuuuuuuper bright (you can see it but it’s also not overly bright, but you still get the effects). The crew came with a tarp that we could put over ourselves to help dim the moonlight and town lights, and you could really see it at that point. All in all, would def recommend but keep in mind that nearby is the mosquito bay which is known to be the brightest bio bay in PR (from what the locals told me). I don’t think the difference would be huge but just something to keep in mind when booking excursions!

This kayaking tour was an incredible experience! The crew was knowledgeable and very organized from start to finish. Kayaking through the mangroves to Laguna Grande at dusk was fun, but even more fun on the way back when it was nearly pitch black. There were glowsticks on each boat and the guides were all around us, so I never felt unsafe. The entire crew was great, especially Jesús who explained the science behind the bioluminescence. With that said, I wish that the tour allowed us to wander off for 5-10 min within Laguna Grande so we could try to get pictures of the bioluminescence. When we made it to the bay, we were all connected and huddled with “tents” over every four kayaks. We were told we couldn’t use any artificial lights including our phones. I completely understand why, and I wouldn’t want to ruin anyone else’s experience with my phone’s light, but having the opportunity to go out in the water a bit with our own tent could’ve elevated the experience for my friend and me. Additionally, the time in the bay was pretty limited, only 5 min or so to run our hands and paddles in the water to watch. I would absolutely recommend it and would do it again, but hope the crew can find ways to allow more time. TIP: Wear swim clothes because your bottom half will be soaked. We were running late from our previous adventure and I didn’t bring clothes to change into. I’ve kayaked a dozen times before back home and have never gotten soaked, so I didn’t think it’d be a problem. 😅 I ended up buying a towel and some shorts from the gift shop across the street because it was a little over an hour drive back to San Juan. Don’t make my mistake!

The guides were informative and entertaining. Jesus led the tour, and when Jesus is in the lead, you know you're in for a good tour. The tour went through a channel to get to the lake which was a neat part of the trip. The colore in the lake were amazing. The guides provided a tarp to cover you and really make the luminescent algae shine.

We went on the 6:30 trip and it was beautiful to kayak through the mangroves. The bugs were only a slight issue at sunset, but not bad. It is a workout for sure, but totally worth it. Our guides made sure we went to a spot where we could see the brightest. Other tours were not going that far into the lagoon. Going back in the dark was interesting, but added some adventure! Definitely worth the trip!
