What To Expect

Be ready for convenient pickup at your Reykjavik accommodations. Board a comfortable bus and find your seat, equipped with Wi-Fi and a USB charger. Each seat also comes equipped with a tablet, which provides GPS-sensitive audio guides in several languages.

The UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park is the first stop. There, learn about the Althing, one of the world's oldest parliaments. The park is also home to the location where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates have been dramatically pulled apart; the rift makes great photos.

Continue to Geysir geothermal area, where you visit the very active Strokkur geyser. Take a walk around the Gullfoss Waterfall, where runoff from the Hvítá glacial river drops over two levels into a canyon.

To keep exploring the rugged terrain of the central highlands, hop aboard a custom super-truck bound for the snowmobile base camp at the foot of the Langjökull Glacier. There, transfer to a snowmobile to ride across the snow and ice fields of the white wilderness.

After a day of adventure, relax onboard the bus as you're whisked back to Reykjavik and dropped off in the evening.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Such a great experience! The tour was prompt, our guide Darren was the best. Super informative, a lot of Icelandic knowledge and he was pretty funny too! The Glacier was unreal, once in a life time opportunity. All the staff where very helpful; from getting the right gear to operating the snowmobile, not a beat was missed

kristina was very knowledgable and gave an amazing insight to icelandic history. the sights were amazing with the highlight being the glacier experience. highly recommend for anyone wanting to see the glacier and the golden circle. very well organised aswell. could be a bit clearer on pick up time from hotel but was all good as was not clear in booking confirmation but company responded very quickly for who was delivering the tour.

Fabulous….Until the bus left without our group.

The snowmobiling was absolutely fabulous. The scenery was so beautiful. Everything was perfect until the bus returning to Reykjavík left without the four of us. We were stranded at Gullfoss.(Why didn’t the tour leader check the roster before leaving?)

Great whole day adventure with lots to see and do.

Overall a great experience. Lots to see and the tour guide was great. It is a long day with significant time on the coach is worth being aware of. When at stops you probably needed and extra 15 mins at each, however this may have been due to the challenging weather conditions. The employees were all fantastic and helpful. You would save time by taking food and drinks with you on your journey which would give your more time at each location. The weather did impact journey time and visability on the glacier but that can not be planned for more than it was.

Amazing Tour

Absolutely incredible, we opted to meet at the meeting point (very easy 20 min walk in the morning from our hotel). There were lots of coaches but they all had the tour signs in and they’d called out your name. Took you to all the sights with plenty of time at each. Once at the water fall we got on the super jeep and took a long(ish) bumpy scenic but fun ride up to the hut near the glacier to get suited and booted. Then we carried on to the area at the glacier where we would be snowmobiling. It was INCREDIBLE. Even if you’re scared to do it, do it! You won’t regret it. 100% would do it again.

Great experience! Our tour guide Emilia was very helpful and informative. It's a great tour to spend with family or as a couple. Tour management was great and was very easy to follow, just make sure you give yourself enough time before the tour to get everything sorted. Would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to get a taste of Iceland. The stops could be a little longer but was worth it regardless. Sunrise starts around 10:30-11 during winter time so the first stop was a little dark, but we brought head torches with us so it wasn't too much of a bother (You would experience the sunrise at the first stop). Nevertheless, the journey from one stop to the other was wonderful as the tour takes you through scenic routes. Overally, this was as a great tour. Thank you!

Limited time at Gulffoss waterfall

It should be specified on the itinerary that there will be a very short time spent at Gulffoss Waterfalls and limited visibility because you will be there at sunset and daylight is gone and you could hardly see and photograph the waterfall. The snowmobile trip takes up the time which would otherwise be spent at the falls. The snow mobile tour was well organized. The snow mobiles were heavy and not easy to maneuver and I wish they had power steering. The ride was bumpy and I found it hard to keep my speed without the fear of flipping over which some people did immediately at the start. It was worth it at the end but thought this review should give fair warning.

Great day from Start to finish... Pick up & Drop offs all on time. Very pleasant tour guides. Gullfoss waterfall & snowmobiling absolutely an amazing experience. We went as a group of 4 ages 15, 22 and 37. You get 30 mins on the Glacier snowmobile then a 10min break at the top of the Glacier for photos and swap drivers then 30mins back down the Glacier. You get around 45mins at the Golden Circle, Gullfoss waterfall and The National Park. We even got a cheeky stop in to see the Icelandic horses and fed them. Wasn't part of our schedule but the tour guides go above and beyond.

an excellent day from pickup to drop off was spent learning about and experiencing the beautiful landscape Iceland has to offer! The snowmobiles were great fun, but for some they may be quite difficult to manoeuvre? If you’re going to Iceland I’d throughly recommend this or at least the golden circle tour!

What you should know

Two things to know beforehand: they pick you up from the nearest bus stop not the front of the hotel + leave enough time at each stop for food! Genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done this trip. Couldn’t recommend it more! Peter and Kayla were our guides and were great the entire time. We had plenty of time at each destination to see everything and get photos and was a great way to spend the day! Snowmobiling was a genuine lifetime memory it was incredible and I’m not sure I’ll ever experience something like it ever again. The Glacier was beautiful. 100% worth the extra!

Unfortunately I mixed up my pick up times. Because my trip pass was showing 08:00 I didn’t check my email to notice it was a 07:30 pick up. Long story short the agent who I emailed I will be receiving zero refund. So I am scratching my head on up to do next as my 20th wedding anniversary trip got crushed in a matter of 25 minutes pick up time. Have to add the other trips through the app was wonderful

Your was ok , snow mobile was the best part . What ruined it for me was being ripped off by viator . They claimed they had the request for payment declined , which in fact was untrue they never made a request for payment. But canceled my booking anyway. I then was forced to rebook at short notice , I had originally booked 11 months in advance so had to pay an additional £90 to get the same tour . What a scam

The snowmobiling experience was the highlight, but this was a very long day with the other stops incorporated. Wish it could have been just the snowmobiling with quick bathroom breaks. Also, the snowmobile guides went quite slow because the group was too large. Would work much better with small groups & again less stops along the way.

We thought we were supposed to see a geysir, but our snowmobiling group was split off before that stop. We were disappointed, but had a fantastic time on the snowmobiles, and the waterfall stop was gorgeous.

Snowmobile trip

The snowmobile part of the tour went out in very bad weather. This part of the tour should have been canceled. The tour was cut short because of the visibility and weather. No one enjoyed this experience. Some sort of refund should occur.
