Amazing ‼️
Karter_C, Apr 2024
The tour guide was amazing and made sure we were able to see the Northen lights. He even had instructions to help bring out the lights in our camera.
Bucket list check off!!
Garnett_B, Apr 2024
I was lucky enough to see the lights, a memorable experience. Could you been better if: A- The guide would wear a vest that makes them easy to locate. With so many folks on the tour he was hard to locate IN THE DARK AT THE STOPS FOR QUESTIONS. B- Please speak louder while talking on the bus. VERY HARD TO HEAR THE EXCLAMATION ON THE LIGHTS from the speakers on the back of the bus. Maybe start by asking….”can everyone hear me “……

This was an amazing tour. Tour guide Ritche was wonderful and tried his best to get us the good view of Northern lights.
unbelievable night of lights!

We were very fortunate to have wonderful conditions to see the northern lights. Romeo, the tour guide, gave everyone a tutorial for the camera settings on our phones to improve our pictures. This was very much appreciated! He also asked the bus driver to the bring us near the blue lagoon to see the volcano actively erupting!
Great time, great fun, great experience!
Kursat_A, Apr 2024
Picked us up from our hotel right on time and made the experience as enjoyable as possible. Thank you to our tour guide Romeo for guiding us and helping us setup our cameras to capture the experience. Total trip time was about 3.5 hours.

We went to go see the lights on April 12th, 2024. We were aware that we were visiting towards the end of the northern lights season. Sadly, we did not see the northern lights on the first night. Too cloudy, it rained earlier in the day. But this company we booked through is AMAZING and has a policy that if you did not get to see the northern lights you will be rebooked for free. Second night it was a clear one, but again we did not see them. They rebooked us for a third night. Sadly, we did not see them. Almost all hope was lost that on our trip to Iceland we would not get to see the northern lights. But, sometimes in these situations you got to have hope in the universe, and be persistent! Amazingly, they allowed us to rebook one last time since it was our last night. Alas, we saw the lights! It was such a magical experience, and could not thank our guide Martin enough. He was our guide 3 of the 4 nights and he made sure to do all he could to get to the right area to see these lights. He helped us point them out and was on it when they would switch areas. He has the perfect eye for them! I would recommend booking with this company. The rebooking process was made so easy and we were so thankful for them allowing us to rebook so many times. Thank you!!
Great trip

Amazing. Saw the erupting volcano of the 150 active ones and aura borealis. This was one of our best tours while in Iceland.

I had a great experience seeing the lights Daniel was a great tour guide and August the bus driver was kind to make an emergency stop to see the lights one last time.
Second attempt and the lights put on a show
Marsha_A, Apr 2024
We went out our first night in Iceland but it was too cloudy. We took advantage of the company’s offer for a gratis second attempt on our last night. Martin, our guide both nights, shared his knowledge about the lights and also camera settings for better pictures(phone and real camera). We were taken to a spot at which we were the only tour bus. Once the sun set the lights put on a show. Luck and Martin’s knowledge gave us this amazing experience.
Spectacular

We were fortuante to see the Aurora Borealis on out trip, thanks to the knowledge of locations and tracking of activity from our guides Romeo & Augustine. We had an amazing setting in a church grounds which allowed us to capture some amazing pictures and the best tasting hot chocolate to warm us up while taking in the display. We also got an added surprise of seeing the Grindavik eruption in the distance with the sky above it a glowing red. An amazing experience all round and will 100% book for this tour again.
BOOK IT

If you are on the fence about paying for a tour vs trying to find northern lights yourself- I suggest booking this tour! I don't usually participate in tours but this was worth it. This bus was comfortable (but no bathroom PSA for those who are used to big coach busses having them). The experience was great because the guides explain the science behind northern lights, can show you what specifics landmarks are that you may not realize (volcanoes in the distance, etc), and they take you to the best locations which they monitor the weather of and go to the locations based on what current conditions are. They also communicated with other tour drivers as to where the best viewing spots were in the moment while we were on the bus, so we were essentially chasing the lights! We got very lucky and saw a lot- they are not as vivid and vibrant colors as you may see in pictures (it is all based on a camera setting which they will inform you of on the bus- super easy!) but you will see them as cloudy whisky duller colors with the naked eye but viewing it through your phone and adjusting the color settings afterwards will truly show you what your naked eyes can't see (the four explains that our iris blocks out the lights). The guide was also so informative and genuinely excited to be there. He took us to where the two tectonic plates meet and made us home made hot chocolate and we stood around a bon fire at one of the locations. Where else can you do that! Just do it:)
A priceless experience

This trip was booked on my Mum's birthday and we tried to be realistic about maybe not seeing anything but we were also so excited! Richie our guide was really friendly and entertaining and kept us all updated, we pulled over on what looked like the side of the motorway after about an hour and there they were! Every location after that just got better and better, Richie helped to set up our cameras and told us to lie flat on our backs for the best view - a great idea! Brilliant night and the perfect birthday, we even had hot chocolate by a fire pit at 2am near a gap in two tectonic plates. Spectacular.
We saw the lights...after the chaos
Keith_K, Apr 2024
We saw the lights! We even saw them while waiting for the bus. I know its a crap shoot if you will see them or not, but we lucked out and it was amazing. The only bad thing about the experience is the CHAOS at the bus stop in downtown. Multiple people from multiple busses yelling out people's names was horrible. There needs to be a better way to do this.
Lights, hot chocolate and an amazing guide
Emily_S, Apr 2024
We got a free upgrade to a small group and I can honestly say it was amazing. We had Oddi as our tour guide and he was awesome. Very informative and kept us informed the whole time. We had a really secluded spot to find them and we got really lucky with the weather. The lights were amazing and we even stopped on our way back, as they had gotten stronger, so we could take more photos. We had cinnamon hot chocolate to warm us up, which was so delicious (and definitelyneeded). Overall an absolutely amazing experience that I thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Iceland!
100% recommend

Booked this trip last minute, as we weren't sure it was a good time to see the lights. Bus pick up was a bit chaotic with a register for everyone getting on...and there was 2 bus full of people! Journey was smooth, driver and guide were great and explained so much about the aurora borealis. Our guide Martin, even helped everyone set up their phone cameras to best capture the lights, which was really helpful! We weren't actually expecting to see much due to it being mid April and a little cloudy but we got really lucky and had a great view of them for over 1 hr! We stopped for the whole hour in 1 spot to get lots of memories and pictures. There was a toilet block and also some hot chocolate to keep you warm. We paid £50pp which was on the cheaper side of other tours we'd seen. But would definitely recommend as everyone ends up in the same places anyway!
Great guide, great experience!

Had a fabulous time seeing the northern lights with our guide Romeo and driver Simon. Romeo was incredibly helpful getting us ready to take photos with announcements about how to adjust phone settings on our drive out. We made 3 stops, seeing the northern lights on each one, each stop getting better and better!

Wonderful tour guide and bus driver. Got to see lights and a pit stop to take pictures of the volcano erupting.
Lovely evening trying to find the northern lights
Michelle_P, Apr 2024
Was easy to book through get your guide with all information provided. The guide who i do not remember his name was helpful, setting everyones phone up ready to capture the northern lights. We stopped at a couple of places, the guide was updating us all the time of when they might be seen so we was able to warm up on the bus in between, but the guide was going out checking for sights all the time. We also had a lovely hot chocolate to help with the cold. Unfortunately the lights did not show at our stops so we were told we could book again at no extra cost. But when we were driving back to the city the guide spotted the lights. So the bus pulled over, and we were lucky to finally see the lights, was a lovely experience.
Beautiful

Finding which bus to go on was a very chaotic and difficult process, but other than that we really enjoyed the tour and were successful in seeing the lights!
