Every nautical tour is subject to the authority of the Captaincy of Ports (Navy), which may prohibit the departure of vessels without prior notice, when weather conditions, mainly wind, compromise the navigability and safety of passengers and crew. For this reason, it may rarely happen that the boat trip is replaced by an alternative route and the client remains on the beach or on a panoramic tour in Jardineira. The tour guide establishes a meeting point and a time for lunch and return.
ALTERNATIVE ITINERARY In case of adverse weather conditions, an alternative route will be carried out, guaranteeing the success of the tour. There is no cancellation due to weather conditions. Itinerary for the tour without a boat: We use transport taxis, we do not refund values as the value goes to taxis. Go up to Pontal do Atalaia, stop at the steps (the little beaches of Pontal do Atalaia), three hours from the beach. Lunch in restaurant, buffet. And finally, we go to Praia Grande, to see the sunset.
We operate the tour, rain or shine. The day of the tour is chosen by the customer, therefore no refunds will be generated for bad weather. We will operate the tour rain or shine.

We are not responsible for items lost on our buses or vans.
Pick-ups in Barra da Tijuca and Recreio are not included.

During the peak tourist season in Rio de Janeiro, traffic is common due to its popularity. We started collecting in Leblon, went through several neighborhoods, ending with the last one in Lapa. Despite possible traffic challenges, our commitment to a smooth and enjoyable experience remains unwavering as we head to our final destination.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Solo traveler to "Brazilian Caribbean" with bus and party boat

I booked this trip through Viator as a solo traveler and was already prepared for what to expect, from the meeting point pickup, to air-conditioned coach bus, to the 3 hour bus ride to get to the boat, to the 25 BRL shared taxi fees to/from the docks and back to the coach bus, to the recommendation of carrying some spending money in cash to buy snacks and drinks on the party boat, to the final buffet late-lunch (or early dinner), and to the final return to Rio around 9pm. I was also aware of the tour being primarily in dual Portuguese and Spanish, which means that if you require English speaking tour guide, yu must request one specifically (but since I speak Spanish, no issues for me). So I had a great time and the weather was perfect and everything went accordingly as expected. Good communication from the tour provider. Definitely recommend! Thanks!

The tour wasn't offered in English so I did not understand all of the instructions. The guide could not figure out payments and asked me for money multiple times that I already paid. The tour felt rushed. No time to enjoy any of the beaches, but all of the operators seem to do the same thing to be fair. Lunch was actually dinner. Bring snacks! The boat was not as nearly fun as the others. No slide. I would not book again.
