Overall the trip was amazing. The stop to each islands was a little short but other than that it was a beautiful trip. Our host was great, speaks multiple languages, very helpful as well. The water was incredible. You will love it!

Wonderful Boat Ride

It was a great ride from our hotel (3 hours). We got to see the other side of Brazil. The boat ride and the lunch we purchased was great. Our host was attentive to us. She spoke in English.

The tour is very good! the whole experience of getting to Arraial do Cabo was a dream! Food at casa do piedra was amazing. The weather was the only downside, it was very cloudy and rainy but even with that we had a wonderful time on this day trip. I would recommend and I will be back someday, hoping for a sunny day next time!

The worst travel experience I’ve had

We drove almost three hours including picking up everyone at their respective pickup spots which took ages. When we finally arrived we were told no boats were going out that day. The guide had us sit and wait for over an hour before telling us that we wouldn’t be going out. By this time the day was halfway over. We all complained about the situation so the guide decided to rent four cabs to pick us all up and drive us to the beaches we were supposed to see. The cabs took another forty minutes to arrive. We drove half an hour to the beach. The beach itself was absolutely stunning and we loved it. But the guide told us we all had to be in the parking lot very promptly to be picked up by the cabs again to go to the next beach, so we had very little time there. The cabs were almost an entire hour late. So we had wasted another huge part of the day just standing in a parking lot waiting. There were no bathrooms, no where to even sit, and the guide gave us no info about what was happening. She seemed almost annoyed with US that we were frustrated and confused with how the day was going. By the time the next cabs came and took us to the second beach we could only stay for 20 minutes because we had to get to the dinner reservation the guide had made for us. We couldn’t even go in the water the time was so short. The restaurant we went to was wonderful and the staff was great. Ok total we drove for over five hours and waited in parking lots for about 2. We spend 1 hour at a beach and 20 minutes at another. No boats or anything mentioned in the advertisement for Thai trip. My husband and I flew across the world to visit Brazil and had very little time here. We wasted a whole day and it cost us $150 to basically just drive on a freeway and waste an entire day. Our guide was very mean as well, she didn’t give explanations of what was happening and didn’t offer solutions. If the boats were canceled for some legitimate reason then why doesn’t the company have a backup contingency plan or other worthwhile options? Or just give us our money back. Such a sad experience for us to waste a whole day.

Dreadful. Late pick up. 4 .5 hour drive. Arrived 11.00 didn’t get on boat until 1pm No English speaking guide on boat Drinks on board expensive Lunch was at 4 Three people in tour paid for a taxi back themselves Arrived back to hotel at 9pm Spend your money on another tour

This trip was awesome and a great value for the price! Here is a rough time-line: 6:30am hotel pick up, get in van 10:30am arrive at dock after 1 bathroom break The boat took us to a place to swim, then a beach where we loaded into a smaller boat to get to the shore, then to another area to swim. 4pm got off boat and had lunch at a lovely restaurant 9pm arrived back at hotel with 1 bathroom stop during the drive Yes, the ride is long but worth it to get away from the city and swim in the beautiful turquoise water. The boat crew had a wonderful energy and there was a dance contest. You can buy drinks (alcohol and non alcoholic) and snacks and skewers of meat and sausage on the boat. Our guide was Newton and he was great. We were the only English speakers in our group and he always translated for us and let us know what the crew was saying. Overall, just a great getaway at a reasonable price!

Worthwhile day trip with nice scenic beauty

The boat tours were all very nice with scenic beauty and well organized . It would have been more enjoyable if the boat crew spoke some English and were a little more friendly . Our tour guide Alexis was great with great sense of humor . Buffet was just ok but açaí smoothie nearby was the best. It’s a far journey but the experience out of Rio is enjoyable

We loved this tour! Our guide, Israel, was always kind to translate what was going on for me & my daughter. The tour company was accommodating in that they picked us up from our hotel which was not included on the list of hotel pick ups. The boat crew was fun & entertaining. Get ready to dance :) We saw beautiful beaches & scenery along with turtles & whales. The best part was meeting fantastic people from around the world! I highly recommend this tour!

Late pick up (one hour), it took forever to assemble all parties for the tour, I had the impression that the tour guide even did not where the hotels were), in addition the tour guide gave the impression that really does not care and does not like his job, especially not translating in for the onyl English speaking person in the bus . Bus driver watched “women dancing video with little cloth including loud music” whenever the bus stopped”. All over the boat trip was not worth all the efforts to get there, the lunch/dinner included was horrible. I have wasted one day of my vacation.

If you have a day to spare in Rio, and want to visit a different beach from the very well known Ipanema and Copacabana, this tour might be for you! Just keep in mind that you’re going to spend only 1 hour and a half in the beach, and almost 8 hours on the bus! Total time of the activity was about 13 hours! 8 hours driving, 20 minutes in the first beach stop, 40 on the second and 30 in the last one. Including time on the boat ride was about 2 hours and a half, top 3 hours! 1 hour lunch and the rest were breaks stops and waiting lines! So, if you think 1.5hours of actual beach time worth 10+ hours not being actually on the beach! Go ahead! This is the tour for you! Lunch was very good and the boat staff great!

This trip was 15 hours door to door which was way too long! By the time we had driven around what seemed like most of Rio to pick everyone up and then to Cabo, it took us 5 hours. The actual boat trip was different to what we were expecting. No English was spoken which was disorienting as we had no idea what was going on and it was very loud with Music, not chilled which is what we were hoping for. The plus is that it was very pretty and we saw some lovely countryside on the journey down.

Diving off the boat into those amazing clear waters- FABULOUS!! Taking time to walk along the beaches. Having the option to swim or just relax. Travel was easy. Both our guide and our driver were thoroughly professional, helpful, generous, knowledgable and fun. The only slightly disappointing thing was the thing they could not control - the weather. It was cloudy and lightly raining all day! But we still had a fantastic time! This tour is such great value for money, and ... If you LOVE the sea like I do, it's just excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT!! :)
