All public museums in Italy will require all visitors above the age of 12 years old to show a valid ID
Customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 30 minutes prior the scheduled departure time due to managing and organization reasons
Please note: All participant names are required at the time of booking in order to enter the Colosseum. If we do not receive the full customers names, the booking won’t be confirmed. Every customer (adult / children) is required to carry a valid ID that matches the full name on the ticket, or the entry will be refused. Name changes and cancellations are not permitted once the booking is confirmed.
In case of late arrival, no show or cancellation beyond the limits indicated in the cancellation policy by the customer, a refund is not foreseen.
Please be advised that the Colosseum's capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Tour guide was very pleasant but was unable to maintain control of the tour group. One person wandered off delaying the entire group for 10 minutes. We ended up having to leave the tour early due to this and other delays and thus ended up not getting to go to the colosseum at all.

Hello! We are sorry to hear about your negative experience, but we have a specific amount of time allocated for each venue and it is not our fault that you had to leave earlier. It is also mentioned that the venues won't be necessarily visited in this order.

Great Colleseum, Palentine Hill and Forum Tour

Overall, the tour was great! The meeting location was hard to find as vines covered the street number and sign on the door. Our guide was very knowledgeable. There was a lot to see in 2 hours. The guide had to move more quickly than some in the group could keep up, but the guide made sure everyone caught up. This is 2 hours of walking, climbing steps, and walking on old stone roads at a brisk pace. Recommend for those who can walk in the conditions described. The history is amazing!

Giuseppe was a very good tour guide. We booked a 10:30am group tour, which said no more than 30 people. It was changed the night before to 12:30pm which worked for us but if you had plans after it could have been a problem. But the group was only 20 and it was very pleasant. We didn’t wait on any lines and we saw everything

Physically Demanding

Good tour but pace to walk to colosseum from the tour operator was too fast which lost one of our party. Then the pace to get to the forum nearly lost some young members of our party. I had asked if some of my party could wait near the colosseum for the start but they insisted that they walk the long distance to the tour office and then try to keep up to return to the colosseum. They had to abandon the tour before it even began. If you are not physically fit, do not attempt this tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable although it can make us feel lost sometimes hearing the details. At some part during the tour we were walking too fast but he also did give us some time to rest and take pictures. Palatine hill has a lot of stairs so not really for everyone.

The tour was very interesting and thorough. The company that ran the tour was exceptional. It was an extremely hot day, so the people who worked at the company were worried about our 80 and 85 year olds being able to complete the whole tour. They ended up driving them straight to the Colosseum while the rest of us went to see the Roman Forum, there were 10 others of us, and they met us at the Colosseum. Our tour guide, Marco was very knowledgeable and at the end he walked us over to the Taxi Stand and helped us get taxis.

First, We had a great deal of difficulty finding the office to check in. It is a bit of a distance from the Colosseum so map it carefully. Our tour guide was knowledgeable but our group was much larger than I anticipated. We had trouble staying with our guide in the Colosseum. Since he took the whispers after the colosseum tour, we lost him at the entrance to the forum and we we were not able to go in. It was ok but I would not use this group again.

Our male guide on July 3 at 11:30 was a total waste of our time and money. He gave very little information while in line, then shared some information while walking the covered halls of the coliseum but then mostly responding to questions. He did not accompany us while we were walking in view of the stadium itself - No explanation of the subterranean areas, the seating, etc etc. some much could have been said yet nothing shared. Also, I don’t think he smiled the entire visit Similarly, the woman who walked us to meet the manager at the coliseum - neither smiled or showed any excitement.

If you were interested in the underground or other parts of the Colosseum, then you should've bought that tour! Again, our tour was provided exactly as advertised. Our guide was most knowledgeable and kept the large group together, a real feat. Too much time was spent in explaining the pictures posted on stands outside of the Colosseum entrance. People became disinterested and one couple left the group to go on their own. I wish the use of an elevator at the Colosseum had been shared up front before we climbed numerous steep stairs, me and my knee knee.
