Excellent Value in Time and Money

We had a very good driver and tour assist in Masmo and Arif. They took good care of us on a journey with difficult roads and an extensive itinerary. Our guide Hector in Pompei was excellent. We were able to see the important sites in the vast area that is Pompeiii on the relatively limited time schedule of our tour. He made the history come alive.!

We had a wonderful time on the tour with Jayzee and Manuel.. their hospitality was amazing.. Manuel had expert driving skills through the curvy roads and Jayzee was very knowledgeable. The day went so fast , we would love to do it again.!! The weather was perfect an just warm enough in April

Awesome! Max, our driver and Jazzy our host, enhanced the experience of Pompeii and the Amalfi coast! The hotel pick up/drop off feature was wonderful. While at Pompeii, our guide Mariam, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!

My family and I have taken multiple tours during our week stay in Italy and this was by far the best one we went on. This experience included a fun tour of Pompeii and then some free time to explore Positano after. Our tour manager Fabio was amazing- he was kind and accommodating. Everything was taken care of for us- the travel, the delicious lunch with a great view of the water, free time to shop, take pictures and limoncello tasting to end the fun. A memorable experience for sure. :)

This was a great way to spend the day for those who cannot take more time to explore Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. Our tour-assist and driver were very courteous, and the local Pompeii guide was excellent. We did hit some traffic on the way back but it was the end of a holiday in Italy.

Josh, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and patient. The Pompeii tour made the trip honestly. Amalfi Coast is quaint, cute but not a lot to do.

Theresa, our guide and Max our driver were excellent. The Pompeii guide, Daniel, was very disappointing. He did NOT take us to the ‘tourist’ sites that I longed to see but spent a great deal of time talking, sometimes for up to 20 minutes in one spot without moving along or seeing other sites. Saw 6 sites in 2 hours. Spent most of the time along similar streets with the same type of houses. I reminded him 3 times that we had limited time. We should have been told where he was taking us OR maybe we should have been asked what we wanted to see, NOT what he just wanted to talk about.

However, you should know that in Pompeii there are mandatory itineraries that can change without notice for renovation and safety reasons. Pompeii has a very large area, visiting it all is impossible and in 2 hours you can visit the most accessible and interesting points. It is not possible to access the excavations and decide what to see. The Amalfi Coast tour is a wonderful setting of our country and we are sure that Teresa and Max will make you live an unforgettable experience. Long but incredible day from Rome with the family in van that was just our family which was nice. Seeing Pompeii was incredible and the tour was perfect. Amalfi was cute and easy to walk around with a great luch spot. Driver and guide were great as not easy on the narrow roads. Highly recommend if want sampling of those areas.

This was a great trip to Pompeii. Our guide in Pompeii was Hector and he was amazing! He will be 80 in January but he can walk fast and is so knowledgeable. He knew so much about the history of the area. He also had a fun and great personality. He made the tour amazing. I would have preferred to spend more time in Pompeii over the Amalfi Coast. Since we went in November, we could not go to Positano and went to Amalfi instead. It is pretty but other than lunch and shopping, not much else to do there. Also, the road to get there is very curvy, don't recommend it for anyone who gets carsick. We did not but we loved Pompeii so much, that we would rather have spent more time there. The van was comfortable and Teressa who was with us all day was great.

Worth it feels customized. Restaurant were closed for the season but they found a great one and secured a table. Driver awesome guy us back in tome with extreme Rome traffic.

The website notes that there would be a tour guide for the entire trip and that is not true. The only tour guide was at Pompeii and he was very limited in what he showed us. He had his personal take on what we should see and not interested in what anyone else wanted to see. The long drive there and back is brutal. The van that we took didn’t seem like it had any shocks at all and it was just a jarring, long, high speed race. To point out the amount we paid for that trip they didn’t even provide a bottle of water. We had to stop along the way and he said we could buy water if we wanted it. I could not recommend this trip to anyone, but the Amalfi coast was beautiful, but it is a arduous drive to get down to the water, twisting and turning narrow roads. The tour guide that they claimed throughout the trip was a tour assistant and told us he could not give us any history of anything because that wasn’t part of his job. So basically you ride for eight out of the 12 hours in a van with no information about anything you’re seeing. Again I could not recommend this trip to anybody. Be much better off taking the high-speed train to Pompeii and getting your own gate. And it would be way less expensive. We paid over $500 for somebody driving us in a van, dropping us off and then picking us up.

The assistant is available to inform and organize the tour as best as possible according to your needs. The 2 hour guide service is included in Pompeii and this is what we have provided. This tour is a window into our beautiful country and the day's attractions should help you figure out what to delve into on your next trip. It is impossible to experience the excavations of Pompeii in 2 hours, 2 days would not be enough. The ancient city of Pompeii is very large and not all areas are accessible. The basic routes are defined to make the best of this wonderful city destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius known. Regarding your consideration of water, the notes specifically state that drinks and drinks are not included. Why would we have to offer water? At the exit of the excavations there are many bars where you can buy bottles of water or typical Vesuvius lemonade.. Jb Khan is a professional and very knowledgeable assistant, your statement is false. All our staff is highly qualified and controlled, your consideration is just a way to discredit our company. Luckily our 5 star reviews speak for us.. Your consideration on the price you paid, perhaps you don't know the costs related to a trip of this type. Before booking a trip, perhaps it is best to find out about the costs and carefully read what is described. We are sorry if we could not meet your expectations, we cannot reach everyone but we will do our best to further improve our high quality.

“A must do” experience to Pompeii, Positano and Amalfi Coast!!!

I went on this excursion to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast on Monday October 23, 2023. After experiencing the “tour from hell” yesterday (Sunday October 22, 2023) to Florence/Pisa, this one was awesome. Interestingly both excursions were hosted by the same tour group company, “Welcome Italy.” It’s unfortunate that your experience will depend on who your driver, assistant and tour guides are! But it makes sense because they are a huge part of the experience. Our Tour Assistant was Arif and I don’t remember our van driver’s name - but they were both great. The driver was much more safe than the driver I had yesterday. Arif was helpful in suggesting recommendations when we arrived in the Amalfi Coast. Our personal tour guide at Pompeii was “Hector.” He was phenomenal! I couldn’t believe the pace he was going at almost 80 years old. So knowledgeable and funny! Our group had lunch at Ristorante Pizzeria La Pergola right on Positano’s beach. I wouldn’t recommend going here - it’s a tourist trap. They will force every person at the table to order a dish. It’s very pricey and honestly the only good thing is the view. We wrapped up the day with a Limoncello tasting. Limoncello is an Italian liqueur made from lemon zest. It's mainly produced in Southern Italy, particularly in Sorrento, Capri, and along the Amalfi Coast. I’m not much of a drinker but I did take a sip. It was was really strong. I actually preferred the Buffalo milk Limoncello as it was thicker and creamier. Overall, this excursion was great - you’ll definitely want to book this one because the Amalfi Coast is magical!!! Now I know where I want to go back when I visit Italy again.

Very personalised trip as there were only 4 of us. Highly professional driver Giovanni and excellent knowledgeable guide Therisa. Good early tour in Pompeii and nice drive to Positano. Positano is picturesque, but main beach is very small and you can walk from side to side in 5-10 min. You have to be smart how to spend your time - may be not to rush to first restaurant as we did. Pick up and get back to hotel were well organised.
