  • While the Vatican Museums are equipped with elevators for wheelchair and stroller access, they are not conveniently located on the group tour route and only give access to specific sections of the Museums. We advise clients to contact Walks Customer Service Team to make further arrangements.
  • Please ensure that all members of your party have a valid ID on them on the day of the visit.
  • The special access passage between the Sistine Chapel and St.Peter's Basilica is closed on Wednesdays and subject to other unexpected closures during special celebrations/festivities, including the Easter ceremonies. On such days we will instead explore the magnificent Pinoteca Gallery.
  • Sometimes guides may not be allowed to give tours inside St. Peter's Basilica, in which case they will share a brief explanation from outside and you will be free to visit the Basilica by yourself.
  • Walks / Devour complies with all local government regulations. Please refer to local government guidelines for the most up-to-date information.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

Leah was a great guide. There was so much information to cover and I think she did an excellent job doing so. There are so many companies that offer the same experience. While I have not experienced others, I will say that this company and specifically our guide was very interactive and did not 'talk at us' just to rattle off historical facts. She paced all conversations well, asked us questions, and threw in some humor here and there. She was very mindful and protective of us as a group and individuals and just really set the stage for everything that we experienced. It was a LOT to cover as a guide and a lot to consume as a tourist but I walked away with many key points of which I will never forget. Vatican city is a place that you should visit a few times or sure. I would book with this company again.

The tour was very good. You get to see key highlights of the Vatican and St Peter's. Artwork is amazing and our tour guide did a nice job. Just be prepared to walk alot in a very crowded environment. The huge crowd which sometime made it feel like a herd, was the only reason why this didn't get five stars. Not the tour fault, it was the Vatican. It was interesting with the incredible wealth of the Vatican, there was people outfront asking for donations! Again not the tour's fault, just a bit tacky on the part of the Vatican.

The information given was very complete. We had to listen carefully while moving quickly through heavy crowds. The earphones worked well, but it was a little hard to concentrate while trying to stay with our group, walking up and down hundreds of stairs, And hear all the history. I had taken a this tour before, and we never had to navigate so many stairs. A very good tour, but no allowance was made for slower individuals.

Visited the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica in April. Absolutely astounded by Valentina’s knowledge of art history and all visiting points on the tour. Her heartfelt appreciation of the art, sculptures and buildings thoroughly made this tour unforgettable.

We loved this tour! Be ready for a lot of walking and standing, but it was completely worth it. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and very patient with the young children on the tour who asked a ton of questions.

Colosseum The Colosseum was our final tour We met our guide beneath its looming wall Which made us insignificant, so small. When, finally, we reached the arching door We saw how vast an edifice it is, Accommodating circuses : A dreadful list of rended human skin, Although a site we simply couldn’t miss. Our guide was Leon, knowledgeable, good At making sure we stayed within the loop Made all his comments helpful for our group He kept to time, as we felt sure he would. A worthwhile visit we enjoyed a lot And well conducted round this ancient spot.
A great way to learn about this religious icon.

This was a very informational tour. Yes, we likely could have seen more of we had gone in our own, but we would not have learned nearly as much about what we did see. Our guide, Sev, provided a lot of very interesting information and insight that we likely would have missed.

Sabrina our guide was lovely, very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing information. We saw the major attractions and even had the time to see more because it was low season with less visitors, so we moved through more swiftly. A hassle free experience skipping all the queues, definitely recommend. One note, a lot of walking, wear comfortable shoes.

This was a very informative and impressive tour to see all of the art and sculptures that you see on TV and read about in person. Our guide Paola F. Was great and answered any questions that were asked. I definitely recommend this tour.

Amazing!!! Our tour guide Sabrina was incredible. Her narratives were interesting and engaging and she was incredibly knowledgeable. The Vatican is very crowded but she was terrific at keeping us together and informing/maneuvering the group so we had the best opportunity to appreciate everything. I have been on a Vatican tour once before but this was much more interesting.
Lack of communication for handicap access

The tour was great but the experience prior to the tour was horrible. When I booked the tour I clearly stated I need handicap access and when we arrived the team knew nothing of this request. My wife had to take an alternative route and drop off the tour half way along with my son. I want a full refund for them two.

Angela, our guide, was brilliant. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The museums etc were very busy, but this wasn't the tour organisers fault and from what I've read, they're always busy! Without our guide we would have missed lots and spent time queuing. Would recommend

I cant express how happy I am that I booked this tour. Our tour guide Nico was the best. He was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. He did a great job of keeping everyone engaged. I initially had mild regrets about purchasing this because it is more expensive than just getting regular tickets to the Vatican Museum, however, I would have not fully appreciated my trip without it. Book this, you won’t regret it.

Just fabulous! Our guide was an Australian lady and she was amazing. So knowledgeable and super enthusiastic. She really took us on a most wonderful journey and adventure. I am so pleased that I took the time to research the different tour companies and took this one. Some of the others looked dull and underwhelming in comparison to ours. We loved this tour! The instructions for meeting ahead of the tour were clear and our guide, Anna, was so sweet and knowledgeable! The Vatican was very crowded but Anna was great at navigating us through the crowds and making sure we were able to see everything! Our ability to skip lines here made a huge difference! The line into St Peters was crazy long but with our tour, we were able to get in within minutes!
