To see this ancient palace brought back to life is really stunning.

This was one of our highlights of our trip of both Naples (pompeii and Vesuvius) and Rome. The tour guide was great - just the right amount of background and detail about what we were seeing. The virtual reality really brought the location to life - I got goose bumps seeing it as it was in the first century AD. Would definitely recommend.

The company sold me tickets for a non-existing experience - the venue was closed and I was not informed about it. I bought the tickets a few months in advance and now I will have to claim my money back - the company has not provided me with any information so far!

Egypt Influences Rome

The site was remarkable. The guide was excellent. It was disappointing that the tour was directed more to the Egyptian influence into Rome and Nero. I expected the tour to concentrate more and the virtual reality project to be centered on Nero and the palace.

Booked for English guide but tour company decided to switch to different time with Italian guide at last moment without our consent and refused to refund. Went there anyway and found out there were plenty of English guided tour 15 min prior and after time we were rebooked to. Poor customer service.

Last minute ( 5 days before ) booking... no choice but to take the Italian tour with an English guide... Luckily for us, Daniel compensated for our lack of understanding of Italian... He was mindful of our language limitations and thus gave us a pre explanation of what we see and took each occasion to bring us additional details inside. After the visit, he responded to all our questions we still had.. At the end of the day, It was a great tour which justified the hefty price paid (>200 euros)...

La gestión de las entradas nefasta. La visita excelente.

La Domus Aurea es muy bonita, una buena visita. La parte negativa que queremos comentar es que, si bien ya entendemos que puedan cambiar los horarios, lo que no es aceptable es que hasta el día antes de la visita el 21/03 a las 16:32h no me enviaran las entradas correctas. Inicialmente compramos las entradas para las 11:30, el 2 de marzo nos dice que sólo hay para las 10h o para las 13h. Decidimos las 10h. A los poco días nos dicen que tiene que ser a las 13h. y que 24 h. antes de la visita nos enviarán las entradas. Tres días antes de la visita recibimos un correo electrónico diciendo que ya tenemos las entradas y resulta que son para las 11:30h. Nos creó bastante confusión. El día antes de la visita 21/03 a las 13h (24 horas antes) aún no tenía las entradas, las recibo a las 15:19 y son para las 11:30h. Vuelvo a contactar por el chat indicándoles que todo es muy confuso y que me aclaren a qué hora tengo que estar si a las 11:30 o a las 13h. El día antes de la visita el 21/03 a las 16:32 recibo por washap las entradas para las 13h. No es correcto que estando de vacaciones tenga que estar intentando contactar con ustedes para que me aclaren a qué hora es la visita. Gracias. Saludos. Reyes Díaz

De Domus Aurea zelf was interessant. Maar Viator daarentegen beoordeel ik als zeer, zeer slecht. Ten eerste moest ik 69 euro per kaartje betalen terwijl het nauwelijks een uur later 'slechts' 51 per kaartje was. Dat zij zo, maar vervolgens kreeg ik mails met de kaartjes waarop stond dat dat het eigenlijke kaartje niet was en dat ik die bij het domus zelf moest ophalen. Dat kon niet, men wist daar van niets. We mochten er eerst niet in, uiteindelijk lukte dat en ook nog eens omdat mijn reisgenote haar paspoort bij zich had. Dat was kennelijk nodig maar had Viator niet meegedeeld. Maar het allerergste vind ik dat een kaartje ter plekke 24 euro kostte. En dat was het waard. Jullie hebben dus bijna drie keer zoveel gevraagd, aan ons dus 90 euro verdiend zonder er veel voor te doen, sterker nog, het was een heel gedoe om de kaartjes te bemachtigen. Ik zal nooit meer boeken via Viator en jullie zeker bij iedereen afraden.

Infelizmente não consegui realizar a visita. Apesar de ter feito a reserva com bastante antecedência, alguns dias antes da data agendada recebi um e-mail alterando o horário, de 09:30 para as 11:30hrs. Como estava viajando junto com meus cunhados, mandei uma msg pedindo para ver a possibilidade do horário deles tbm ser alterado. Depois de trocar várias msgs, recebemos a informação que poderíamos ir os quatro as 11:30hrs. E assim fizemos, só que o voucher que me foi enviado era para as 10:00hrs (enviado poucos minutos antes das 10), e o da minha cunhada 11:15hrs...ou seja, qdo chegamos eu e meu marido não pudemos entrar , o rapaz da bilheteria não quis nem saber de toda a confusão, disse que o erro era da VIATOR, que ele não poderia fazer nada. Imagine minha irritação e desapontamento, nunca passei por isso em nenhuma outra viagem Eu costumo usar GetYourGuide e nunca aconteceu....estou muito insatisfeita. Pedi ressarcimento do valor, pois trata-se de um passeio caro, e eu não tive culpa. A culpa foi da equipe incompetente, que não consegue nem emitir vouchers corretamente.
