        Wasted hours of my vacation.

        They said this was cancelled when we arrived. It apparently was not according to Viator. My kids were upset that there was no tour

        Great tour! The guide was so friendly and informative. So many things we learned we would not have learned if we had just gone ourselves.
        Delayed Start but Excellent Tour

        I gave the tour four stars because it started nearly an hour late. However, once it began, it was excellent. Our guide, Raoul, was knowledgeable and engaging. Unfortunately, the delay meant that we had to rush through the Forum and Palatine Hill to catch our train. The tour company handled the delay well by sending me a message in the morning and following up with a call in the afternoon to ensure I knew about the delay. Despite arriving early at the Colosseum for our original start time, we had to wait around for a while due to this delay, which did give the kids a chance to rest. I had initially considered the Arena and Underground tours from others, but after going on this one, I didn't feel like I missed out. We still learned about the Arena and Underground and saw them from a distance. I think it's good to do tours like this one that go up into the Colosseum for an aerial view of everything. Once we were in the Forum, we explained to Raoul that we had to leave the tour early to catch our train. He kindly gave us directions to the panoramic terrace, so we could still get a good overview of everything and take some pictures. Overall, despite the delay, we had a fantastic tour, and I would have given it five stars if not for the delay.

        The tour was great! My husband and I both felt like we learned a lot and we were really glad we booked the tour rather than just visiting on our own - we wouldn’t have known what we were looking at! We had a bit of trouble figuring out where the meeting point was at first, but a guy (one of the employees of the tour company I assume) called my phone to find me and very helpfully led the way to where we needed to go. Georgea, our tour guide, was nice and very knowledgeable. After the Colosseum, she even showed us around the Roman Forum. It was a pleasant and educational experience.

        We had Simona as our guide and she was quite frankly awesome. She is an archaeologist of more than 30 years experience (actually having dug at the Roman Forum) and she brought the Coloseum, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum to life for us. We were lucky to be in her group. She came with 2 folders of props and we were fully engaged for nearly 3 hours.

        Great group tour. We were a little worried and underwhelmed at the start with the meeting point introduction by Radu, but as the tour progressed it turned to be a great experience and he left us with a feeling of gratitude and awe. We appreciated the communication between Martin and ourselves before the tour (tour started about 20mins late and we got lost) and also the passion of the guide Radu despite looking like he was on a holiday at the beach himself haha. There was a good balance between short historical talks and free time to explore/take photos etc. Entry was pretty quick given the crowds. And it was worth hanging around afterwards to gain quick entry to the Forum and Palatine Hill. We are are family of six and felt it was very manageable with the children. Overall I would recommend this tour.

        This is a very complete tour, that includes many important landmarks in great detail: Colloseo, (the outside, inside and arena, but nit the liwest level where gladiators and animals were), the Pallatino and Roman Forum. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. TIP: arrive early and be inquisitive about the meeting point. Be proactive in finding your group! We found our group after quite some walking and asking around. We do recommend this tour!

        La visita ai fori imperiali è stata davvero emozionante così come vedere il Colosseo. La nostra guida( Argentina) ha saputo raccontare in modo chiaro ed accattivante la storia di questi due incredibili luoghi storici
