  • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
  • Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
  • It is forbidden to bring inside the Colosseum: glass, sharp objects, alcohol, spray
  • Customers need to show up at our office in via della Polveriera 8 in order to join this tour
  • Comfortable shoes are recommended
  • In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours and a half
  • Upon choosing our guided tour, you acknowledge and accept that the admission fee to the archaeological sites of the arena is 22 euros for adults, accompanied by a 2 EUR booking fee, and free admission ticket for children under 18. The remaining amount is voluntary and includes services provided by skilled licensed guides, headsets, booking fees, and other tour amenities. Our goal is to provide transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown, allowing you to fully recognize the value of our guided experience.

      Our guid was a wealth of information that helped enhance the experience. He guided us to key locations that helped demonstrate what he was explaining about the history of the Colosseum. He also took us to the best locations for capturing the greatest pictures. I will never forget.

      Our tour guide (I think Valero, sorry if that’s wrong) was brilliant. He was an architect who worked on the colosseum and ruins so gave his first hand experience. He told us this is a journey and was brilliant. Perfect English and you can tell his passion for what he was speaking about. He gave us time for pictures when needed and helped take great ones too!

      The tour was very informative and the actual guide was excellent. My real criticism is that it did not meet my expectation of “skip the line”. We queued for around 30 minutes to access the Roman Forum as there did not appear to be any quick access route. As a result we ran out of time and were not able to visit the Palatine as was advertised on the excursion prior to booking. Access to the Colosseum was, in fairness, far quicker. I appreciate that the tour company does not control access and security to these ancient sites, but I feel that the “skip the line” enticements were somewhat off base. The company running the tour either need to offer genuine “skip the line” access, or allow more time to complete the tour as advertised.

      The tour started on time. The guide, Sabrina was friendly and gave all the answers my wife asked about the history of the sites. It was a three hours tour covered all the advertised highlights.

      Our group was 30 people, and that was part of the problem. Our guide was nice, but his English was hard to understand. We went on 5 tours between Florence and Rome and this was the most disappointing. When we got to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill after visiting the Colosseum, it had already been 2 plus hours and the tour was only supposed to be 2.5-3 hours. The guide gave everyone a bathroom break for 10 mins (totally fine), but when 9 group members still had not reported back we continued to wait for them for another 15 mins. We left the tour after 3 hours without hearing anything about the Roman Forum or Palatine Hill. The tour guide could have stood at the meeting point and began to tell us about the area at the 10 min mark knowing that some people chose to go off and use the bathroom and walk around and didn’t come back at the 10 min mark. With a group of 30 it’s really not fair to wait for 7-8 people. There was also a stroller with the group which held us up at times. Not the best operated tour with Crown Tours.

      Excellent tour. Our guide Matej was great, very informal but a wealth of information. Super friendly and happy to answer questions. Easy to listen to and understand the history. The tour was very thorough, didn't seem rushed and we covered both sites. The arena tour was stunning, walking through the arch where the gladiators would of walked. Not very busy so good time of year to go (March). Highly recommend the company, smooth easy process and very organised.

      Good tour with hiccup that affected experience

      We took the Spanish tour with Sarah. Although she was a great guide and very knowledgeable, there was a miscommunication between staff members and part of the group arrived late. While waiting for them, we had to do the line for the Palatine Hill three times and wasted at least 45 mins. After, the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum part of the tour was very rushed as we had to get to the Colloseum. Access to the arena in the Colloseum was great and gave a unique perspective.
