FANTASTIC TOUR AND EXPERIENCE - COMMUNICATION NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

We were hesitant to book this tour based on the limited reviews but the 90's kid in me was desperate to recreate my favorite I Love Lucy Episode. We were ultimately grouped with a wine tasting tour and did the grape stomping before we left since we were the only couple who requested this. our tour guide at the winery said he is actually surprised more people don't do this. The winery was amazing, our guide once we arrived fantastic and the light meals that accompanied the wine fantastic. The company's communication is terrible. I sent a message 48 and 24 hours before our tour via Viator and Instagram and received no response. We showed up at the designated pick up and no one was there, I tried the contact numbers and website number straight to voicemail. Finally, I called Viator who advised that they made contact with the local guide and the driver would be there at 11 a.m. for pick up with a sign. Our tour was at 10:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. pick up but we just rolled with it. The guy showed up and essentially had the tour name on a 8 x 11 printed paper. The company name was not listed and he spoke no English. We used our translator app to sort this out but there we were a full bus of various times and tours confused. When we got there, we saw two people who took a cab when they couldn't reach the company - the time she said she got in the cab we were still gathering under the arch. There has to be a more responsive service team, this is no way to run a business.
