        Disappointing round a great venue

        The ‘guided’ part of the tour was very disappointing. We learned very little. And received nothing in the way of anecdotes about the stadium - unlike in other stadium tours, or other Viator tours booked on this holiday. The feeling was more that our guide was there to make sure we went in the correct direction and at the correct speed… which was quite fast.

        Fabulous tour guide and lots of interesting information as well as lots to see. The tour was jam paxked from start to finish with great things to hear about from Roma and Lazio both.

        I don’t understand how the stadium tickets (Stadio Olimpico, Rome) actually cost 28€ (as printed on the actual tickets) and Viator charged us 56€! For what exactly are we paying double the price?!!

        This trip was booked for my sons birthday present. We turned up at 10.40 to the stadium as our tour booked at 11 to be messaged by operator to say an issue with the tickets, can we come back at 1pm. We couldn't hang around in the rain and wait until 1pm!! The tour operator has since ignored me. I would not recommend.

        The whole tour was disappointing, I have done a few of these tours and this was by far the worst. No information or anything given about the history of the stadium

        Nothing good with this app. Paid lots of money not received the tickets, on the stadium no booking was confirmed from this service and I needed to pay again for the tickets. Now i am waiting for a refund and I did not heard anything back. If I could give 0 starts I will give . Will not recommend to anyone, I will make them aware that this service is a scam

        We’ve been on a few stadium tours in the UK this year and the standard of the tour at the Stadio Olimpico was abysmal in comparison. The signs to get you to the tour are small and it’s tricky to find your way to the right area. We were met by a grumpy security guard then shepherded round a 40 minute tour by a guide who was more interested in her phone than the tour. She had zero commentary as we went around - the only history we got was from a 1 minute video and the most limited football museum I’ve ever seen. No stories of the teams that play there, nothing about notable games. When asked about the capacity of the ground, the answer was 70k to 80k. As a guide you should know the exact number. The stadium is pretty run down looking and there’s nothing going on in the area around it. Best to spend more time in the city centre, waste of time and money. Really disappointing.

        Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the stadium and teams playing there. A brilliant experience from beginning to end. Sitting in the conference room, changing rooms and then up to the stadium which was very impressive.

        Booked this tour thinking that it would be easier than buying tickets on the day. The company did not send the tickets as stated that they did. It is a scam and they have been reported to the local authorities. They are utter scam artists. Do not book via them. They do not answer phones or emails on the day of your tour and don’t send tickets. We had to buy more tickets that were half as much as we paid through the company. Scam artists.

        After numerous messages to viator about this trip airing my concerns that Roma were playing the same day as my tour,literally as we were setting off to the ground by chance I noticed it had been refunded. Poor communication and still no answer from viator hoe this happened, very unhappy 14 year old boy who was super excited about this trip

        Sold tickets for a tour on a match day. The tour doesn't run on match days. So essentially theft and obviously illegal. But haven't been refunded with very poor communications from Viator "customer services".

        This is not an official ticket site!! Book direct through the stadio olimpico website! They are only €18 for adults!! We were turned away on the day because we didn’t have a QR code emailed to us nor was it on the PDF that we had.

        Caution: don’t buy tickets from Viator as I have been ripped off for £94 worth of tickets! I was unable to access the entry tickets via the Viator emails resulting in me having to purchase 3 more tickets at the stadium directly & they came to a further £55.50. After explaining the situation to Viator they refuse to refund me which is disgusting. Very poor customer service experience & they clearly only care about taking your money irrespective of whether you are actually able to access the event or not. I’m also disabled but these people don’t care.

        First of all, Viator never sent our tickets, only a voucher, so we had to pay for tickets again on the door! The stadium is run down and provided a very poor quality tour. The guide did not speak good English. She said a lot more to the Italian tourists. I don’t think she smiled once! The gallery (usually one of the best parts of a stadium tour) was out of bounds as work was being done on it. The pitch was also having work done so was like a building site. Even the “official” shop did not have many items available. All in all, if you really want to see this stadium, don’t waste your money booking in advance. Just pay on the day, as it is cheaper.

        Absolute waste of time. The tour could be so much better - simple facts about the stadium and the four teams that play there (Lazio, Roma, Italy & Italy Rugby) would bring it more to life. But to be told after starting that the changing rooms are off the tour due to a concert is not a great starting point! Also - the tour can be purchased through the Stadium directly - you do not need to play more money for the same thing by booking through Viator.

        The stadium is interesting. The tour was very weak. There was very little information offered; there was no discussion of the history of the stadium or the fan culture of Roma and Lazio. The fan shop had very little up sell.

        The tour was quite rushed and was over in less than an hour plus we didn’t get to see the changing rooms or the pitch due to a concert preparation, maybe they should sell tours at a reduced rate in these circumstances, a bit disappointing

        Stadium looks run down. Area around is a ghost town. No clear signage on how to access the stadium for tour. After completing nearly a whole lap, we found one singular gate open in the far corner. Over booked with at least 45 children. Made the experience stressful and didn’t give us a good opportunity to see around. Museums are basic and the changing room just look abandoned. Highlight was being able to walk the tunnel and sit on the seats of the mangers and bench players.
