Might have been ok but they never showed up so we could get our tickets…very disappointing. We were credited but that doesn't give our time back or get us sold out tickets. The person we purchased from said the Colosseum was closed and that was not true…scam.

Never USE VIATOR Again

The address given to pick up my ticket was closed. I submitted a video to VIator and asked for a refund. It showed the street name, address and a closed metal door. The company refused my refund request even with that video. I will never use another seller on Viator again.

We were unable to access our tickets via the application or the email as described, however, I received a call from Viator via Whatsapp and after explaining the issue received the tickets in a text right away. All we had to do was show the bar code which was then scanned allowing us entrance into all three venues as we made our way to the lines. We had an amazing time!! Thank you Viator!! We will definitely utilize the app in the future.

The colosseum was very good to visit. We could not visit the Palatin Hill and Forum Romanum because it closed at 15u30 and we didn't know. It was not mentionned on our tickets.

Beware you need to collect your ticket from another address

They don’t make it clear enough that you need to collect your ticket from an address near the venue. No idea why we cannot get it all as pdf file or why they didn’t make this clear. Also, you only skip the line for buying a ticket there you still have to queue to get in the forum

Our tickets were cancelled and we were offered an alternative day that did not meet our availability. We were given a refund. We were left scrambling to buy other tickets from another vendor.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. I strongly recommend visiting the Colosseum, but do not book with these guys. The ticket cost me twice the face value of the tickets. Travelling across the world for this trip I wanted to be sure we got in - I didn’t need to worry, it would have quicker and easier to buy them myself at the location. Off season is easily quiet enough to buy at the venue. You have to pick up your tickets from the “operator’s” store. (You may as well just get them at the Colosseum). The link to their location is wrong in the confirmation email, so I wasted 30 minutes walking to a different spot and then back. When I arrived at their store to get my tickets for the 4pm slot I booked, I was told that my tickets were for 4.40, as that’s all they could get. (No apology). They didn’t give me our children’s tickets as I still needed to get them from the official booth to prove their age! In summary, I was charged double to be sent to the wrong location, wait an additional 40 minutes and queue up at the official booth anyway. They added literally zero benefit and took around 70Euro. A disgraceful scam. Avoid at all costs.

I paid for a ticket double price ,also I had been charged for my daughter as same as for adult. However children getting a free entry ticket. I paid for skip the line ticket but after collecting my ticket from agent office worth €17(I paid €31 each)I had to queue to pick my daughter free ticket in colosseum office. Not recommending

over priced tickets, 2 to 3 times higher than what other sites offer. I will not recommend Viator

Expensive Way to See the Coliseum

I would recommend booking your tickets through the official COOP Culture site well in advance to avoid overpaying for these tickets. Admittingly, it is my fault for waiting to buy so I ended up having to purchase these tickets for the Coliseum instead (about 2-3x the regular price). I think there are a bunch of "tour" companies that are essentially buying up official tickets and reselling them for large markups (this is implicitly noted in the tour description with majority of the price being for non-existent value add services). Pickup of the tickets was easy enough from the office located very closely to the Coliseum and had no issue accessing the sites once obtained.

A little uncertain, but worked in the end for last minute option

Purchased last minute (a day prior) because we didn’t plan ahead and buy tickets weeks in advance. This was our only option, and pricey, but that is what you get when you don’t plan ahead, so it was our fault. That said, if you’re willing to fork out the cash, this is an option. I did the same with a number of other similar vendors on this trip, and this one was by far the sketchiest. When we arrived, one out of our three tickets was scheduled at 1:20pm while the other 2 were scheduled at 1:30pm, making me feel like you get when you get when you purchase from here, and times may change upon handing in your vouchers, as others has expressed here. Don’t buy from this company for a time anything later than 2pm. That said, it worked for us. We simply arrived 25 minutes ahead of time, went in, got out skip the line passes, and went down to the coliseum. Finding the skip the line entrance was honestly the most difficult part, and it is crowded in front of the colosseum. As the first guard or employee you see where the line is once outside it. You don’t want to waste time getting in, especially since this company may have changed your time for one earlier as they did us. However, it worked, we got in, and it was a blast. Saw the colosseum, Palentine Hill, the Forum, Constantine’s Arch, etc. Just leave early enough to find the place (address listed in their info here as well as on your voucher—make sure you go to the right address, company is With Me Tours).
