Great tour to learn about the history behind the Castle. Our tour guide was nice and personable and seemed to be passionate about the history. The only downside, was another couple wanted to leave early so they could make their next tour reservation. The guide then decided to rush through the last 10 minutes to finish instead of letting the couple just leave. That was a disservice to the rest of us who made the time to be on the tour.

Alec was a brilliant guide. They used some amazing microphone with individual receivers so the sound was crisp and clear, even across the courtyard. The discussions covering the different time periods were outstanding. Easily the best tour and your guide we've had in a while!

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be an English speaking tour turned into a tour given half in English and half in Italian so we spent a lot of time standing around while the guide explained the information in both languages.

The guide was excellent. The castle was excellent. The whole experience was excellent. If you want an in-depth knowledge of the history of the castle, this is the best way to acquire it.

Seeing the “layers” of history in one place was very interesting. Frederico was full of information and provided us with a lot of details. very nice guide and tour! The tickets also allowed for us to stay longer and spend additional time at the Castel

We were so blessed to have Alec as our tour guide!! We have been on several tours here in Rome and every guide we have had does not come close to making things as interesting. His knowledge of everything is just amazing and he was very passionate and detailed. Our whole family was so impressed. Honestly, we all wish we could somehow just hire Alec to give us the rest of the tours here in Rome. We cannot Thank You enough Alec! My son wanted to hang with you rest of the day, he enjoyed listening and learning from you so much!! The most excellent tour ever! On all other tours I could only think I wish we had a good tour guide like Alec because then we could be learning and enjoying instead of wishing it would just get over. Matthia was great. We had him the day before for the Bourghesie villa and museum tour. This was a pretty comprehensive tour and he gave us all of the important history of the place without going into the less important details. It was a lot of walking and cobblestones and would be difficult for someone with limited mobility. That is really nowhere to sit down so bring a portable chair if you cannot stand for long periods or have trouble walking. We had my friends 80 year old mom with us and she had a lot of trouble. Otherwise was interesting and worth it!

We had the best tour guide named Job. He made the experience comical while filling it not only with the history of the Pantheon but of the surrounding areas. And to top it off, he showed me how to take this vertical panoramic pics that I wish I knew how to take when I went the the Vatican days before. I went to Castel Sant Marie afterwards and used his method to take pics of the ceilings and now I have my own masterpieces. Thanks Job!

A previous tour we had scheduled for the Castel Sant'Angelo was cancelled so we booked this tour at the last minute two days before. It was great! Our tour guide, Alec, was engaging and knowledgeable. He did a great job and this tour is a must for anyone visiting Rome.
