Overview

Get the best possible shots of Rome on this guided tour with a professional photographer. You'll be walking and shooting with a very small group of just four participants, so you'll get plenty of hands-on instruction and tips from your guide. Sites visited include streets, squares, churches, and parks; you'll be sure to take home some frame-worthy images.

  • For those willing to visit specific museums or archeological sites during the tour (e.g. Romam Forums and Colosseum or the Borghese Museum), availability for cannot be checked without making a booking. Credit cards will only be charged upon confirmation of show availability
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • Arrangements can be considered for non photographing spouses, partners & children coming as guests.
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Most travelers can participate
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 4 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Worth every minute for an American in Rome

Giulio was a wonderful guide, for both photography and Italian culture. As an American I appreciated his cultural insight. His knowledge of the area and its details was impressive. A kind and patient person to spend a few hours with. He adjusts to the skill level of the participant(s) and I recommend his tour for a novice or an expert and all in between. His communication after booking and before the event was perfect.

It was also my true pleasure meeting you, and sharing with you my knowledge of Rome while suggesting what and how to photograph it. As I told you during our walk if you should ever come back to Italy, by yourself or with a couple of friends also interested in photography, be aware that from February 2024, I will start offering multi-day tours, in Rome and Latium, Umbria, Tuscany, and Apulia, four amazing and very photogenic regions in the center and south Italy. From 2025, I will also add packages to Venezia and Slovenia. These tours will be fully customized holistic multiday journeys, tailored around your wishes, and time availability. Giulio is the best! We had such a wonderful time on his photo tour. He made things fun and memorable, plus I learned some great photography tips! Giulio is very knowledgeable of rome, he took me to spots I would never find on my own! It’s not just sightseeing, even though we were in the classic touristic parts of rome he showed me the hidden paths to make the most of the experience and where to get the shots I wanted . I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

The best photography experience in Rome

I was lucky to have found this tour. This is the second time that I visited Rome and I wanted to take the best pictures. The tour guide took us straight into the best and most famous places all around the city. He instructed me in which camera settings worked best for the kind of pictures we were taking. Not only pictures but he also provided us with a detailed historical explanation of the places we visited making the tour even more enjoyable. Giulio, our tour guide is a professional photographer who likes to help people enjoy the most out of their vacation by helping them take the best pictures. If you want to bring home your best shots while learning and having fun, this is definitely the tour to take. Highly recommended!
