    We hired Movartis Limousine for this half day tour of Rome because we had limited time and wanted to see the highlights with a private driver. Irene was on time and absolutely professional, looking the part entirely. The car was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Irene immediately asked if we had any special requests or places we knew we wanted to see and made it clear that she was there for us, to make our experience on this tour custom and memorable. Having grown up in Trastevere, she was incredibly knowledgable – not only of the areas she took us but the history and interesting facts about each place. Upon our request, she took us to the Jewish ghetto to see, and pay our respects to, the stumbling stones. She also drove us out to the Appian Way where we were able to see the beginning of the pedestrian/bike only section. Definitely a Bucket List item!! When she heard that our family elder was looking for a hat by which he could remember Rome, she made special effort to help him find not one but two stores for shopping (he hats in both places)! Her driving skill in the city is IMPRESSIVE. I think we will forever remember with smiles how adeptly she manages those narrow, pedestrian-packed streets. That alone was worth the price of admission! Fantastic tour, wonderful driver, we would recommend this to friends and family without hesitation. Worth every penny. Irene made it a family memory to last a lifetime.

    Our tour was around the capitol which was great. The plus side is we got to see specific locations and take photos. We asked our driver/guide ( we had one person, not two which is what to expect for driving tours) that would drop us off and say here. Take a picture. Great. But what am I looking at? Why the significance? We asked a few times but got tired. She stayed w the van while my son and I walked about and listened to guides from other tours. She did provide some information. But it was very limiting. For $500+ I could have paid an uber driver to shuttle us from location to location.

    Dear Steve, that's really sad, but we generally use just one driver-guide that provides both driving and knowledge, and they're very informative.
    Will recommend Rome to our friends and to use Viator!

    Well worth the money! The guide was kind and very knowledgeable. This tour will help you get a “overview” of the main sites. We used this tour to give us a better idea what we wanted to see more of and discover little secrets along the way. We had children with us so the van made it really nice as we moved from place to place!

    My family and I are in Rome for only 2 days. I was able to book a last minute private city tour where the driver took us to see all the sights Rome and allowed us photo ops. She also gave us a nice little history lesson on the way. I would definitely recommend!

    Iren was a great tour guide. She grew up in Rome and can navigate the city like a pro! She let me out to see some sites! She encouraged it. Also stopped in the morning for bakery goods at a local establishment. Also on the way back got pizza. You won’t go wrong with Irene being your guide.

    Seeing St. Peter’s through peephole. Seeing the many columns and statues erected so many years ago. The views of the country side was quite beautiful from the tops of the hills.

    This company went above and beyond for us, and I highly recommend this tour! Our first scheduled tour of Rome had to be changed to the next day because our flight coming into Rome was delayed. They easily rebooked us for the next day. My husband and I had the best and perfect day with our guide, Mossimo. He was punctual, knowledgeable, funny, and he was an amazing driver. He let us choose some sights, and he gave us great recommendations. Our tour was customized just for our needs. We learned so much! The new Mercedes van was clean with good AC. We needed this because it was a super hot day in July. We never could have seen half of the sights in Rome if we did not have this tour. We were taken to the best lookout spots, attractions, and places that only locals would know about. Those four hours were the best! I definitely recommend this company, and I plan on coming back with our kids next time and booking this same tour from the same company!

    What a great way to orientate yourself! Salvatore was a very informative, entertaining and polite host- especially difficult on such a crowded, hot day. We felt vey privileged when looking at lines of hot, frustrated people.. I highly recommend this tour if fairly new to Rome and/or short of time.

    We had 2 adults, 3 senior citizens and 2 children in our group. This tour in an air conditioned van was incredible. Having someone else drive through the streets of Rome was invaluable and we saw so many amazing sights in a relatively short period of time. It was a whirlwind! Our guide knew many facts about Rome but I wished she had been a more engaging story teller. But overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this tour as a great overview of Rome.

    Driver accompaniment rather than Guided Tour

    The driver was punctual and the car was beautiful. The 3 stars are because this isn't so much a guided tour but a personal driver. We were dropped at each of the 9 sites and left to explore alone and were given a little blurb of history once we returned to the car. We had the expectation of being accompanied by the guide at each site. It was a missed opportunity which could have been a richly historical experience.

    Ireni, our tour guide, arrived promptly to pick us up at our hotel. She was gracious and charming and had a passion for Roman history. We got to see the highlights of Rome's historic sites, got to walk around a bit and take photos at each site, and when we came upon a piazza in Trastevere, I asked if we could sit and experience some espresso, Italian desserts and food and just people watch for a while and Ireni cheerfully agreed. My grandchildren just loved Ireni's narrative that brought history to life. This was a great tour for me because I cannot walk a lot and I think we covered a lot more by going by car. I would highly recommend this tour. it was the highlight of our trip. The tour was very easy to book.

    Communication with the manager was excellent. The van was very clean. The driver was nice and helpful and full of interesting details about the places where we were going. The van was on time—for airport transfer, for a 12 hour tour from rome to Florence, and a 4 hour tour around the city of rome. They were all reliable and friendly, and I felt I could trust them in this city where we know no one and don’t speak Italian. Thank you!! Our driver, Irene, was conscientious and kind and easy to be around.
