Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
To get inside the monuments it used group ticket and not individual one. It cannot be asked just the ticket entrance.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Child discount is applied only with a valid ID card
Security checkpoint and the payload capacity might delays the access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors.
The activity can suffer 20/30 min variation due to organizational resons
For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened

To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray

In which case, we will offer an alternative itinerary as it seems fit and offer a partial refund

Tour in the City not trustworthy

The trip to the colosseum was amazing. Eddie was a terrific guide. I hate to include him in a 1 star review. He was 5 stars. Unfortunately when we went to the Vatican portion of our tour, they left us with no tour and no tickets. It was my husband's bucket list trip and we will never see the Sistine chapel. Tour in the city really didn't care. We were just another tourist. Be warned, Tour in the City is not trustworthy. Book with someone else.

Colosseum: - Tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, personable (sorry forgot his name, Sam?) - Seeing the colosseum from inside is incredible & tour guide gave great historical background - FYI does NOT include arena floor access Vatican/Sistine Chapel: - Tour guide (Margarita) is very knowledgable and passionate - It was a very huge group, so difficult to manage and move together, but luckily the Vatican/Sistine Chapel was overall not very crowded that day - Not the highlight of my trip, personally it was underwhelming, but still amazing to see and experience all of the history Overall: - Front of the line passes definitely worth while, especially since lines are longer for COVID vaccination/green pass requirements - FYI does NOT include transport from Colosseum to Vatican; so plan accordingly for lunch/transportation (it was about a 45 min walk for us)--I think the Colosseum tour started at 11, ended around 1, and we had to check in for the Vatican tour by 3 - If you are younger or more of a solo/couple traveler, would recommend doing self-guided Roma passes (which can also include skip-the-line passes and some include transportation); these group tours are more for a 'mature' crowd who need more guidance so you spend more time waiting for people rather than going at your own pace - I probably would have done without it if I could do it again, but the tours did a great job organizing & still helpful to just click/book and not have to think about anything

Colosseum tour is excellent, but not Vatican & Sistine Chapel

The package has 2 parts - first is with Colosseum and we upgraded to visit Palentine Hill. Tour company is "Tour in the City" with Maximo as our guide, whom we really enjoyed ourselves. He's so humorous and pace the tour nicely. Seond part is the visit to Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, tour company is "Explore Italy Tours" and the tour guide is bad. Felt a dread following the tour guide to be honest, couldnt appreciate his jokes and he chased away the other tourists abruptly if he needs to use the space. After tour ends, he rushed off quickly.

After our cruise in the Adriatic, we set aside a day to "see" Rome for the first time. We signed up for the tour of the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill in the a.m. and the Vatican and Sistine Chapel in the p.m. For the morning tour, Sam was our tour guide and was absolutely fantastic with his narrative of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill area. It was a most enjoyable experience, In the afternoon, we became a group of six (6) who were assigned to Massimo. Massimo is a very experienced guide and a great personality for this experience. We were able to tour the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica in a period of three hours. Massimo was very adept in getting us through large crowds and we were given the impression that he was very knowledgeable on all of sites. Both tours were excellent and we were so fortunate to have been assigned to these guides. Would strongly recommend to anyone visiting Rome for a short time.

Great Tour

My family really enjoyed this tour, despite the rainy weather. Both starting points of the tour were easily accessible by metro and located close to the attractions. The Colosseum tour was shorter than I expected it to be, but very informative. The Vatican Museum tour was much longer—comfortable shoes are definitely required. But still very enjoyable. I recommend this tour for anyone with limited time in Rome.
