This tour was great. It was easy to find and follow. Our guide, Delaila, was great and very knowledgeable. She has a masters degree in hotel and tourism so you won’t fall in better hands. We learned so much today that makes this worth every penny. She’s very accesible providing information we were not even expecting to have. Thank you. Nice Tour!

Gabby did a great job with our tour last evening. She seemed pretty knowledgeable about the Hidden gyms throughout the area, and also about the Trevi fountain. It was very hot, so she seemed to be accommodating and trying to keep us in the shade as much as she could.

Disappointing and misleading

It was really disappointing. The guide was passionate and somewhat knowledgeable which was good, and the price was cheap so that is why it is 2 stars instead of 1. We didn’t even go to all the advertised stops. We completely skipped the Galleria Sciarra. And the stops we did pass by, we didn’t get to go inside to see what is actually advertised on the tour. The optical illusion baroque church - our guide just pointed it out from the outside and said it was worth a visit. So much for the promise of “See the incredible frescoes and spot the optical illusions.” Pretty hard to do that from the outside. Same with the pantheon. We stopped by it from outside. These are free to enter. But I’m not even sure they are open during the time this tour is scheduled for. In addition, it’s an incredibly crowded area, but the company did not provide radios and earbuds which has been a common experience on every other tour we’ve been on. The guides are not even given flags so our group members frequently had trouble keeping up and spotting the guide. Also, I’d like to ask if the tour company has recently updated the description of the tour. When we bought it originally a few months ago, I recall it was supposed to be a “Rome at night” experience and included the Spanish steps. Obviously 5:30pm in June will not be an evening tour as the sun doesn’t set till around 8pm and the lights don’t come on until then. Perhaps I’m getting this confused so I’ll update my review if the company confirms they haven’t changed it. Overall, I wish the description had been more honest that you don’t get to go inside certain stops. It’s a cheap tour but given the cost of entry to these locations is free it would have been nice. At least make it obvious in the description. I’m not mad about the money because it is very cheap, I’m more upset I wasted my last night in Rome on this tour, which I was counting on to be able to experience some of these sights. Our guide saying the sights are “worth a visit” isn’t helpful when we are leaving the city the next morning.

The guide Dalila (not sure if her name is Dalila or Delilah) was very knowledgeable and answered all questions patiently. She also explained the history and connected the places very well making it interesting for us. She seems passionate on history and being a tour guide. Since there was no speaker or ear phone, her voice was not loud enough sometimes. May have to stay close to hear her. I would suggest raising her voice little more or providing audio set. Will still recommend her as the group was small enough to stay close to her.

Such a wonderful afternoon walking tour with Aria through Roma. The perfect mix of history and fun stories about some of the great attractions of Rome. I think this would be a great tour for when you arrive in Rome for an overview. Aria was a highlight herself with her passion and genuine enjoyment on showing you Roma.
