What To Expect

At your selected departure time you’re picked up from your hotel and transferred to the starting point for your zipline tour in the Rotorua forest, a protected ecosystem that your ticket price helps to preserve.

On arrival, it’s a gentle walk to the first platform, perched 72 feet above the forest floor. Before you launch into the canopy, expert guides provide safety gear and a briefing on what you can expect during your treetops adventure.

Before you shoot off into the tree canopy, learn about the region’s history and birdlife, and hear about steps the local tour operator is taking to care for the 500-year-old forest. Then enjoy aerial views as you zoom along six ziplines — the longest of which is 722 feet (220 meters) long — stopping at two suspended bridges in between.

Back on firm ground, finish your Rotorua zipline adventure with drop-off at your hotel.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our guides, Jess and Mikaela, were highly entertaining and a wealth of knowledge as well as extremely competent with the ziplines, putting us all at ease. Their passion for conservation was contagious and the educational part of the experience was as enjoyable as 'flying' through the canopy! Would recommend this to EVERYONE and will do it again in a heartbeat.

Andrew and Steve were the leaders for our group they were helpful, caring, and knowledgeable! I’ve always wanted to try zip lining but was scared I wouldn’t be able to land properly and break a leg or something! But they made it so much fun I was able to relax and even go backwards! Awesome experience!

The canopy tour was the highlight of our week long tour of the north island. Sam and Jake were phenomenal guides. They made us laugh and feel very safe while zip-lining. They did a wonderful job explaining all the conservation efforts that are done to keep the forest healthy. We will definitely be back again.
10 thumbs up!!

Our guides were Sam and Fran and they were the absolute best! Both witty and fun, but serious when it comes to safety! Very knowledgeable about the local plant and animal life and very clearly love what they're doing! 10/10 would recommend!! Also, you'll be a conservationist in the process as the proceeds help to support native wildlife conservation!
Loved it

We had the best time Ziplining! Our group was fun and our guides were so excellent. Their safety standard never waivered, they were constantly alert to everyone while at the same time making it so much fun with jokes, stories of the conservation they're doing in. the forest for the forest and its animals/birds. Totally be coming back and doing it again.

Ziplining through the tree tops of the ancient Rotorua forest was exhilarating. Not only did we get to fly down several ziplines, but we also learned quite a bit about the local forest and wildlife conservation efforts thanks to our insightful and entertaining tour guides Kat and Samantha.

My ziplining adventure was nothing short of incredible, thanks to the outstanding guides, Alex and Liv! Despite my initial apprehension, they made the entire experience a blast with their infectious enthusiasm and unwavering support. Their encouragement, especially when I was feeling terrified, was truly invaluable. What made the adventure even more special was the wealth of knowledge they shared about the local flora and fauna, including fascinating information about moss and the ongoing conservation efforts in the area. It not only added depth to the experience but also fostered a newfound appreciation for the environment. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie or simply looking to immerse yourself in nature, this ziplining adventure guided by Alex and Liv is an absolute must-do. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Recommended for anyone.
