    Highlight of our Trip to Austria!

    Highlight of our Trip to Austria! We were picked up on time in a clean minivan from our hotel. Shiva is very professional and provided us with so much history about Austria during our drive to the Hallstatt area. You can tell he really takes pride in it and he very much enjoys his job. He even recommended other places of interest in Austria for us to see and visit later on in our trip. To our surprise we didn't realize we would be snowshoeing on top of the Austrian Alps at the 5 Finger Lookout, (we did go the last week of March 2024) this was definitely a highlight of our trip to Austria. Hallstatt is a small fairytale like town. Very historical with cafés and shops to enjoy. Highly recommend Shiva and would absolutely take another tour with him again in the future!

    We spent an amazing day with an amazing guide. Shiva can be on my Trivia team any time. He is a wealth of knowledge of the area and many other things. We were picked up on time at our hotel in a professional van and the tour commenced to the base of 5 fingers. During the drive we stopped to take pictures and he drove through numerous areas and was provided historical and current information. After 5 fingers we went in to Hallstatt and spent 2 hours to explore and enjoy the sensory overload of the beautiful area. This is a hassle free one stop shop tour to awesome locations with the opportunity to get out and do what you want in the prescribed time.

Your wonderful expression (I love it) "sensory overload of the beautiful area" is simply perfect and not an exaggeration. It might be possible to top that experience by coming back one day i.e. in November and experiencing it when clouds wave down from the mountains. It's almost mystical.

    We were met by our driver 'Shiva', via hotel pick-up on time for our departure to Hallstatt. Our driver was very knowledgeable and courteous throughout, taking great care of our personal needs for our tour. As we made our way to Hallstatt village and the summit, we were taken away by the breathtaking small town around the lake, and snow topped mountains. A cable car ride to the summit and a short walk to the five fingers platform, we were taken away by the sheer beauty of the skyline, mountains, and surrounding snow. Simply a wonderful tour, very special thanks to Shiva.

    This tour is a great way to have the best of two worlds. One of the highest mountain peaks in the Austrian mountains where you can see glaciers, valleys and so many mountains as far as the eye can see. The second part puts you straight into a fairy tale in this magical city of Haldstatt. Words can’t describe how beautiful this city is.

    This was a fantastic tour to get to know the Salzburg and surrounding areas, and visit Hallstatt. The drive was very scenic. Our driver was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the places we visited. He even gave us a really nice tip for the road to take to our next destination to get the best scenery for our drive. I highly recommend this tour. We took the ice cave option but you can also go to the salt mines..

    Beautiful day, amazing place! We chose the boat ride on the lake. It was magical! We traveled in a group of seven. Two people chose to go up the mountain and they loved the experience. Five of us chose to be in the town, and there was enough to do for the time allotted.
