I really enjoyed hearing the stories that went with some of the more infamous persons on the tour. The locations are both historic and beautiful in architecture. Each bar had a unique flair, and were connected with local lore.

I rarely leave poor ratings, but this tour was a letdown. It started off bad when the tour guide arrived an hour late due to “scheduling confusions”. The first pub we went to was in a beautiful old hotel, the bar tender was an ogre and acted as if our group was interrupting his evening. He asked that we put all our drinks on one check. We thought at first he was joking - but it dawned on us it was not a joke. Of course, this was impossible, as we were all essentially strangers. We also noticed he was making change from his own back pocket wallet instead of the cash till! The experience left us all feeling uncomfortable. The next “pub” we visited wasnt a pub at all - it was a whiskey distillery, and that is all they served. Several of us didnt drink whiskey so we kind of just stood around. The 3rd place we visited was so sketchy with loud music, dark atmosphere, and bouncers at the door, that we decided to bring this tour to an early, self-imposed end and we left. Overall, I would not do this again.

Ally was very knowledgeable and funny. There were plenty of times where we could sit while she talked, which was nice, and the places where we drank were spaced out enough so we didn't have to guzzle our drinks.

We were very disappointed. We were not taken to the listed bars and the guide Ally was not interesting at all. She did not take us by the Aztec, inside the Haunt bar, she left us by ourselves at Pat O'Briens (we did not need to pay her to go there alone). She blew her vape the entire time and was more like a scripted actress that was trying out for a high school play. We would like a refund. We do not recommend!
