What To Expect

Head to LEGOLAND® California right when they open to make the most of your visit. Use your prebooked admission ticket to access the 128-acre (52-hectare) theme park. Once inside, enjoy the freedom of exploring on your own terms and on your own schedule. Visit Miniland to see scaled-down versions of major global attractions such as the Taj Mahal and Mount Rushmore, or head to the New York City area of the park to see a LEGO version of Central Park. Don’t miss the park’s restaurants and multiple souvenir shops.

If you opt for a 2-day Sea Life Hopper admission ticket that also includes entry to SEA LIFE Aquarium next door, where you can see all sorts of marine creatures, from sharks to rays, on the same day or within five days of your LEGOLAND visit. Alternatively, book a 2-Day Resort Hopper and gain admission to three parks in total: LEGOLAND® California, LEGOLAND® California Water Park, and SEA LIFE® Aquarium.

      Park ride queue times were ridiculously long, 90-120minutes for the two roller coasters! The food lines were stupidly too long! We wouldn’t recommend the park to anybody or go back again.

      This was a second visit for some of the family, albeit 16 years apart. We were thrilled to find some of our favorites still there and enjoyed experiencing new attractions! The joy and excitement in the 5-year-old was wonderful! We’ve already started planning our next visit within the year!

      Great park for younger kids, staff is extremely focused on (safety) procedures even if they are particularly doubtful as the processes are massive slowed down and cause long waiting times.

      I think trying to do the aquarium on a second day is almost pointless since it is small and you’d have to pay for parking again for something that is small but separate from legoland. With the said the aquarium is a fun experience. I advise people try to do them both in one day.

      Legoland was so poorly organized. We were there for 6 hours and only rode 5 rides. The rides were only 1/4 full, all of the shows immediately at capacity and the lack of efficiency was unreal. While safety is the #1 priority the goal should be safe and efficient. We were not able to experience only 1/4 of the park.

      This park is very suitable for families with kids of 3 - 5 years old. Rides are not dangerous for young kids and my 4 years old girl had a lot of fun with them. There are also many Lego models which makes adults not to feel boring. The park size is also good for 1 - 2 days visits. Highly recommended for families with young kids.

      Easy day in a clean and well organised theme park. Great for the children with fun rides and not too long to wait on any queue we didn't bother to get priority tickets. Plenty of good quality fast food places to eat. Not much to do for the grown ups apart from admiring the Lego constructions which were excellent - but then it is for the kids!

      I really enjoyed every minute. This park is mostly for the younger children but does have a few attractions for the older ones. The best part for the adults besides watching the children have fun was the food. We ate at multiple different places inside the park and did not have a bad meal. We found a wide variety of ethnic foods, fair/carnival type foods and snacks all delish. My only negative comment is to watch the prices you are charged as we had a couple of problems with being charged different prices from one end of the park to the other finding out later that ALL lego sets are priced the same. We did make management aware but you should be aware too.

      Great time just hanging out as a family. Mom, Daughter, Son, Granddaughter and Mother in Law. A fun time was had by all. A little on the hot side but the restaurants were great at giving us cups of water and not having us drink out of water fountains.

      I'm a lego enthusiast so a five star review may seem like a given, but that aside, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Lots of building stations with lego pieces for the kids to play with and Miniland USA with loads of hidden easter eggs to find.

      As always it is a pleasure to book through Viator. Legoland was great for the small children that were in our group and it was not a fast paced park, so the adults were able to relax as well. The Hotel resort is great, the themed rooms, buffett meals, entertainment for the children and an added bonus, the entertainment in the lift! We went for a joy ride many times just for the fun experience.
