Good value for money

The trip was very good easy to pick up tickets and get boat to alcatraz. Easy to get around up hill though but was a buggy that viild take you up. The city tour was very good and informative but was in mini bus not open top bus. It did take us to lots places probably bus wouldn't. Driver was very good, funny and informative. Well worth the money.

Brendan was very kind, prepared and fun. We were driven around, visited and stopped at landmarks for photos. He provided snacks and drinks. We loved the smaller group, too! Very nice way to see SF sights!

This was a very simple process compared to another travel agent. Smooth process but requires email access and knowledge to download tickets and so forth. Highly recommend for all though as this was the simplest process. The 90 minute excursion was lovely and cosy. In a comfy bus and a great tour guide! Love it!

I’ve wanted to take the Alcatraz tour for years and finally made it to San Francisco so I had to schedule it. The tour did not disappoint. Learning about the day to day lives of the inmates makes you understand why some of the inmates tried to escape. Very eerie to walk those halls abs see the conditions. Definitely worth taking the time to go see. I liked that it was abs open tour and you could stay as long as you wanted to see all of the different areas.

Great Taste of San Francisco

After spending a few days in Napa, we planned a full day adventure in San Francisco before heading home. I always enjoy taking a tour of the key highlights so that I can get a taste of the city from a knowledgeable source, especially when my time in the city is short. We took the tour that included Alcatraz with a 90 minute bus tour. We enjoyed Alcatraz and our tour guide Brendon did a great job on the bus tour. He grew up in the area and knew the ins and outs of the city. He stopped in great locations for pictures and was kind enough to take pictures for us. We took his restaurant recommendation and had a fabulous meal! I loved that this tour was more personal and not on a big bus. Plus we received plenty of communication on where to meet etc. I highly recommend it.

Mother/Daughter trip

Second time for me, but first time for my 14 yr old daughter visiting Alcatraz. The park ranger guides were interesting and knowledgeable about the history. Overall it was exciting experience for the both of us. We didn't get to experience the City Highlights tour, because we were still walking around the Alcatraz grounds and missed getting on the ferry to be at the 4pm tour.

The Alcatraz portion was awesome. We brought our own headphones and heard the guided tour through our phones. They had some devices available for those that wanted. Tours were well organized and it was easy riding back on the ferry. Our tour with Brendan of SF Excursion was absolutely awesome! Brendan knew San Francisco so well. Intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the city, historical data and current affairs. We got to see so much of the city all while learning why and how. The tour he planned had plenty of opportunities to get out and stretch your legs as well.

This was an awesome package to see Alcatraz and do a city tour. The city tour was in a 14 person comfortable small bus and it was a great experience. So much better than a big bus tour. Brendon showed us some really great areas of the city and explained the city really well. Also very comfortable and easy experience. Highly recommend this - we loved it!
