Must-do tour of pike place

This was a great tour of pike place! We got to see most of the market and the food we sampled was delicious. Carolyn provided lots of info about the history of the market, the city of Seattle, and the specific seafood we tried. Plenty of food was provided throughout the tour and I appreciated that Carolyn spent some time with me after the tour to provide other resturant and coffee recommendations. I went to one of her coffee shop recs right away and loved it!

My Savor the Sea walking tour was amazing! Carolyn was kind, consdierate, funny, and insanely knowledgeable about Seattle and the Pike Place Market! Along the tour we would stop at vendors and eateries where the staff was hearing some of the history that Carolyn was sharing for the first time. She also knew her way around all of the mazes and alleys like the back of her hand! Not to mention, all of the seafood was delicious! This was an amazing tour! I've been been on other Pike Place tours, but this one is by far the best!

We enjoyed the history of the market and trying different seafood. Carolyn was great. Our only suggestions would be crackers to have to try the seafood dip and something to go with the Dungeness crab. Otherwise it was great!

There are many other tours who share the same spots we went (ie chowder and smoked salmon) but they get chocolate etc which is not necessary… This tour is fully with seafood. Thinking bite here there may not be enough but not really! We had coffee and small pastry for late breakfast and this bites were perfectly enough as a lunch substitute! And thank you for a bubble gum at the end. Yes we did stick it at gum wall and took picture of it!

Great selection of seafood choices, good storytelling, and tour guide/owner Carolyn has a very outgoing, friendly and fun attitude. Having a knowledgeable guide especially in the almost overwhelming atmosphere of Pike Place makes the experience amazing, especially when traveling solo, and makes a return trip to the market less overwhelming (and more fun!) Carolyn was also a wealth of local information and was generous sharing it.
