What To Expect

This is Seattle’s original food and cultural tour of Pike Place Market. It’s a place to meet the farmers, butchers, bakers, winemakers and all those who bring their bounty to this nine-acre market day in and day out.

The market also features one of the largest craft markets in the country, featuring all locally made, handcrafted goods. There are over 225 small, independent businesses and a diverse selection of restaurants here.

Also included on this tour is a repeat visitor card, good for a 10% discount at all of the locations where you will have tastings, valid for up to 1 week after the tour. By the end of the Pike Place Market Food and Cultural Walking Tour, you will not only have eaten an array of deliciously famous foods, but you will also have picked up a few buying tips, cooking ideas and handy market knowledge.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Chip was an excellent tour guide for us on a Saturday morning tour of the market. His flow of the tour and logistics was excellent, and he made sure to check in the day before to confirm allergies and then send instructions to get to the meetup location. Samples were great and covered a wide variety of what the market had to offer. We highly recommend this experience to get the most of your trip!

Bob was an excellent tour guide! He was such a good story teller and full of knowledge when explaining the history of the market. Every place we visited, the food was delicious. I was a little bummed that Beechers was not a stop on our tour as it mentioned it in the description, but that was not the guides fault and it was still a great tour!

Amazing ans so informative! The food at the Market was fantastic but our tour guide lucky made the trip even better! We got to try several dishes from around the market and got the hear about how each dish was made and the significance it has to the market. We also learned about the history of the market it self and a little history regarding downtown Seattle. I bought this tour for my sister who is from out of town and she loved the tour so much that she felt she couldn't leave without exploring the rest of was seattle had to offer! Lucky our tour guide really made the trip memorable

Even though we are all locals, we learned a lot about the market. Bob was great, he was engaging and fun to talk to. We really loved the truffle queen and the Gelato. Generous sample, fast paced but not rushed and great way to tour the market.

Chip was an amazing tour guide! He is so friendly and full of knowledge about the market. I learned so much and had great food. Definitely go hungry!! You will be eating a lot of samples throughout the 2 hours. We had a few dietary restrictions in the group as well (2 pescatarian and 1 fish allergy) - Chip made sure that all participants had a sample at every single stop and were able to enjoy and he accommodated all restrictions. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seattle!

Tour guide was a no show!

Our tour guide didn’t show up! We arrived at the appointed time and waited 15 minutes but no one showed up. We were looking forward to the tour as the first event of our weekend so needless to say, we were disappointed. We are still waiting for our refund.

Absolutely amazing! The amount of history the market has is incredible that you wouldn’t have known just visiting on your own. We also got to taste so many delicious foods that I wouldn’t necessarily have bought; I loved getting to expand my tastes. Our tour guide, Bob, was also so knowledgeable, funny, and a great guide. Definitely recommending to all of my friends/family for when they visit Seattle.
